My opinion here is 57 days ago ALL of the 10 contestants joined the show and took their first steps on the ice (apart from Andi Peters who ice skated when 10.) All 10 have worked really hard to perfect moves and lifts. Now, I will agree the girls have an easier job. It's true BUT the judges mark accordingly. Last week Steffan and Kristina did less in their routine than Bonnie but they came out on top because Steffan (the guy) did the lifts well and was marked accordingly. So I think this ill public opinion of Bonnie is really unjust because she has spent as much time working and working as the others. You can see from the VTs that she gets things wrong and the judges say she does do more on the ice.

I vote Bonnie to win all the way! She has had to do this with a lot of work, up to 40 hours a week away from her family (I know one of them and they said that Bonnie spend every weekday night practicing until about 10pm) and you and the press having this mean attitude.

Go all the way Bonnie, you deserve it luv!

PS - I will rewatch the tapes for yesterday's performances performance and report on % of performace which was skating on the ice not supporting or being pulled.

Hello were you watching last week? Stefan & Kristina got 25.5 against Bonnie and Matts' 27, when S & K were clearly superior.Do you seriously think there was less in Stefans' routine than Bonnies'. Indeed do you think she could have accomplished that programme?

Yes she works hard, but no more and no less than anyone else, and yes she gets things wrong, pity Jason doesn't notice.

Lets face it Bonnie is not going to win

Stefan is going to win, even if Gaynor and Bonnie skated like Jane they would still loose

Stefan has the girly vote and the sympathy vote, all you have to do is look round the forums and see the comments of 'he is fit' and see that
he has the sympathy vote through the presenters making a point of commenting on the 'come back kid' comments at evey oppertunity

He has to win so the judges look like they know what they are doing, because in mine and many, many others opinions they did make a wrong judgement in keeping him over a better skater who was John

There was nothing too difficult about using the boa as a swing last week. I've done it often enough with my two year old neice holding, using a long scarf. Admittedly not on ice but then i'm not a pro skater.

My neice hold onto my neck, just like bonnie hung onto matts'.

It's not just down to "girlie" votes. As far as I'm concerned Stefan has improved the most in the whole series and he deserves it!!

IMO Gaynor has improved the most

going from a gibbering wreck and a skate off in the first week to doing an elegant routine

I can`t say just how much I agree with this.
I watched her deliberately last night and apart from that spin she managed to pull off, she never left her partner`s arms and hands. the judges are judging her on what Matt does with her in the air, all Bonnie has to do is hang on and pose.
If she wins it will be a travesty. Stefan pulled off a vewry good solo, and Gaynor did well too.

Yes she's improved but the guys have it tougher!! It's more difficult for them to engineer the lifts and stay upright whilst doing so......

Also the girls tend to be led round the ice by their male partners (as it should be) and Stefan has had to contend with this as well.

All in all, he IMO deserves to win!!

Gaynor is great but IMO Stefan has improved the most going from 3 skates off to the exciting skater he is now.

i have to agree. stefan is clearly the best, him and kristina have the best partnership.

Thankyou for your wonderful comments. I am still very much voting for Ms Langford. slappers r us, youre right, Bonnie cannot win because of the reason I have seen on this forum. However, I am disagreeing with Podge1 (seems to be on all forums - no hard feelings ) I think that she is doing well and when on the ice she is doing it well and fluently however, yes she does spend a lot of time in the air but remember, we are looking at the overall performance and COURAGE of the contestants. Now Bonnie and David had bags load. David (and Pam!) had the guts to try the HB move 3 times finally succeeding and Pam was hurt twice badly. Bonnie, although being 'whipped round' by Matt (as you say,) is also very gutsy and is trying her hardest when in the lifts or doing very dangerous moves. Another thing is (although Bonnie is a dancer) she has to keep the tension and shape whilst in the lifts as much or more than Matt has to support her. She is working a hell of a lot to!

Quick Stats for the last performances

GIRLS - Gaynor spent 26.6% of the time actually on the ice unsupported (can hold hands without tension or individual) and Bonnie 32.3% (I know its sad but I have done this for previous weeks.)

BOYS - In terms of the boys, Steffan did better with the moves however, David's moves were of a higher scoring possibility and if the HB move had gone right, David might have gone into 2nd as well.

Remember also that the week before last she was slipping all over the ice and the judges STILL gave her ridiculously high marks!

Well it seems the judges, like a certain someone on DS, have a bit of a "thing" for Bonnie.

I agree, I think the judges are idiots...Robin and Nicky speak sense though!

I do check the thread and I just support her because she has done nothing wrong and people are jumping at her and trying to accuse her!

I have nothing against Bonnie and I'm not trying to accuse her of anything. I think it's understandable that she and her partner use routines which disguise her lack of skating ability, what annoys me is that the judges haven'[t cottoned on to this yet and are giving her the credit for skills she doesn't appear to have ...

Robin and Nicky are probably the judges that are the most inconsistant of all IMO.

What annoys me is that some people haven't cottoned onto the fact that Gaynor is just as guilty of doing what Bonnie does. Yet no one has a go at her, it's only Bonnie who gets it.
