Today (26-2-06) I noticed that there is a fresh bug in the EPG on the Thomson DHD4000. I have been trying to set a recording for tomorow using the epg listings. But as soon as the date/time reaches "Monday 27th Febuary 01:00" the box freezes up. The only cure is to switch off the mains. Makes no difference which channel your looking at on the epg. Hope this will be fixed with tonights epg download.

No problems here - how exactly are you getting it to freeze? I've tried going via todays guide and forwarding to 01:00 tomorrow, and also setting 27th via the calendar and stepping back to 01:00, but no freezes.

Just by going foward in time on the epg (guide button). I get to 01:00 on the 27th using the epg, but cant get any further - and it also freezes the machine. The "picture" window of the last tv channel used is still running in the top right hand corner. Never had this problem before.

I tried that but no problems here. Hopefully things will resolve themselves for you after tonight's EPG download.

If you have a corrupt EPG, perhaps it would be a good idea to delete it using the engineer's menu (2-8-4-6 in the technical menu). I'm sure that would cure the problem.

All fixed this morning. Guess the overnight epg replaced the bad one.
