as far as i'm concerned it refers to both ladies, stefan is the only one left in it who skates - one of the reasons i was sorry to see david go.

But as far as a lot of others are concerned, it only refers to Bonnie, and i find that unfair.

They dont really have to catch the other skater

the wires are controlled by computer the skater just has to stand with arms outstreched and wait for the partner to land then clasp arms hands

sorry but its all equal

Actually, it sounds like something Chris and Jayne did on one of their tours. I think it was called the "Flying Fish" but someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Jayne was on the wire and they did a whole routine of Chris pushing and pulling her around doing spins, etc. It honestly looks amazing and much more so than I can describe. This is probably the group routine again at the top of the show, instead of Chris and Jayne performing by themselves.

no advantage to bonnie if the celebs arent wired but the pros if its the men wired then distinct advantage to the pro men over stefan - particulary as daniel is a wire expert

Well, its a free world so, yes, we are allowed to "slate" Bonnie, especially when she's given unrealistic marks/praise.

The fact is, (IMO ), her skating/footwork - unaided or aided - is not as good as that of Gaynor or Stefan.

Now, that may be because she's being lifted and/or spun around so much that she's disoriented/dizzy/unbalanced when her feet finally touchdown on the ice. However, the fact remains that her footwork is poor.

Yes, the lifts, spins etc are entertaining, but I feel that their whole performance is choreographed to hide Bonnie's deficiencies. Which is why Matt does all the work and Bonnie is merely a "prop" to be lifted, spun, manoeuvred around the ice.

However, I could live with that and manage not to "slate" Bonnie, if it wasn't for the fact that the marks she receives - and Jason's praise - are for the "show" aspect and don't reflect her actual skating ability ( - shouting at TV).

Maybe the judges do mark her too highly.
But that isn't her fault so why take it out on her and not the judges?
I'm just interested to know.

OK then, Jason has a distinct bias towards: (a) one particular skater, and (b) "performance" over skating ability.

During a skate-off, all of the judges voted for one contestant on their past performances, and the other on their performance that night.

Inconsistent - and just plain wrong.

There, and I didn't mention her name once!
