Homechoice with Media Centre

Hello - I need some advice ....

I have had Homechoice for 6 months or so - and love it.

I have however recently purchased a Windows Media Centre PC which now happily sits underneath my TV.

One of the features of Media Centre is the ability to use it as a PVR - thus being able to record TV directly onto the system's hard drive.

The setup seems pretty straight forward - but I keep getting stuck and wondered if anyone knew of a way round the problem.

I can go through the setup and get thensignal from the HC box playing happily in the video window - thus demonstrating that the signal is getting through OK.
When I come to sync the remote control though, it just doesn't work.
There are 2 options:
- 1 is to select the make of the Set Top Box from a list - and it doesn't appear in the list
- the second is to "teach" the system the remote control functions, button by button. This seems to be the way to go - but the media centre doesn't recognise any of the key presses on the remote control.

Can anyone advise me what to do?
It would be the icing on the cake if I can get this to work.

HELP ME GUYS !!
