by brother is a ballroom and latin dancer and does the cruise ships too which is why I knew about the shows when his wife was pregnant they were on the maiden voyage of the Aurora with Bonnie from dancing on ice who was pregnant too - the ship broke down just off the coast of france though!!! and both of them were too far gone on their pregnancies to do another cruise that year

LOL! So glad I read this, as it explains how I managed to bump into Matt & Kristina a month ago!!!

I live in North London, and was getting off a bendy bus - number 73 - in a daze at around 5pm one Wednesday evening, and passed a very handsome man waiting to get on, with a pretty blonde, talking in a North American accent. I recognized her hair imediately!! It was the fabulous pair from DOI, but alas, no time to say, "hi, I'm loving the show, can I have your autograph please?". The bus doors closed, as I watched from the pavement, they sat down, still chatting. Matt did stare back at me, as I was so obviously staring at him he probably thought, 'who is this strange woman?' LOL!

I know there's not long to go - Matt said on Extra he was going back to America next Tuesday - but if I'm lucky enough to bump into them again, I'll be prepared this time!!

BTW Kristina's husband Steven Cousins is Welsh, from Deeside, North Wales, the same as Marika Humphreys. They skated at the same rink as children. I've been a fan of Marika's since she became Junior British Ice Dance Champion in 1989 with her first partner, when she was only 12.

I really hope both Marika and her Ukranian hubby Vitaliy Baranov are invited to do the second series of DOI - ofcourse along with Matt & Kristina!

I thought I heard Sarah Kennedy this morning, saying on her Radio 2 show that Kristina was going into children's television

She's a guest on Saturday Showdown with Stefan and according to The Sun they are going to see how she gets on behind the camera before making a decision. I hope she doesn't go for kids TV and turn into a brash in your face presenter

P.S. On a different note.....does anyone know whether the dancing on ice DVD will contain all the footage from the TC show? I actually dont think so because the running time appears insufficent to contain all 8 weeks. I reckon they would have needed 2 DVDs at least!

i hope it contains all the performances from every week aswel as back stage bits and soem of the training sessions
