Motorola V3B
Hi, ive got a Motorola V3B and it came with a USB cable but no driver or anything. Ive downloaded a driver but it doesnt seem to do anything - in fact it has recognised it as a modem which concerns me a bit!
I might have got the wrong end of the stick with this phone but it says its MP3 ready, so I wanted to try downloading one of my mp3 tracks onto it and use it as a ringtone. Cant seem to do that. Any ideas....? |

you need mobile PhoneTools - you can download it if you search for it on the net - but it costs about £20 - either that or contact the people who you bought the phone from and ask for a installation disc to be sent out - thats what I did when the disc I got from Virgin Mobile for my V3 didnt work.

It is quite normal for it to detect as a modem so don't worry. As already mentioned you need mobile phone tools details here http://www.bvrp.com/ENG/products/mobilephonetools/ should be able to download the lite version on the net if you only want to transfer a mp3 or images.
