Crowd pleasing aside, wake up everybody - all credit has to go to Gaynor's dancing partner, not her. Her skating was some of the WORST she's done. Bonnie excelled from previous weeks and was cruelly robbed. The odds were stacked against Stefan who has always done more for his votes than the others - though it was well deserved he got through to the end. All in all, this was a disappointing final - they did nothing with the remaining contestants except wheel them on and off again. At least, we didn't have to suffer Gaynor clinging on like a terrified hare a second time.

I agree that Stefan should have won but thats a bit harsh about Gaynor she really hasn't been that bad shes just bland.

Bonnie never skated at all in the flying routine. She only put her feet down on the ice a few times but didn't actually skate! Stefan not only flew but skated as well.

i thought stefan danced jmuch better than gaynor in the bolero

I have mixed feelings. I always liked Gaynor and voted for her in the first half.

But the Bolero I much preferred Stefans and voted for him.

There seemed to be a few mistakes with Gaynors and she didn't flow very well as she was skating.

I would have liked Bonnie to have had the chance to show her version too.

A strange night really.

Bonnies flying was by far the best though.

I felt this was a truly wonderful series but the ending of it all was a let down - Bonnie did by the far the best at the flying thing and didn't even get through. Gaynor did her worst performances in weeks and won it. I don't see why they couldn't have just had them all do the Bolero and then just do 321 result at the end. No idea why they just wheeled everyone else on and off again. Remained a Stefan fan from start to finish - it's a lot harder for the fellas and he was really ambitious all the time in what he did.

I felt let down by the final too. I was really looking forward to seeing some new skating from the three finalists and had an open mind ready for Bonnie to prove she could skate as well as the judges kept insisting but the whole flying thing was a waste of time for me and not what I wanted to watch.

The Boleros seemed to be made up of a combination of moves from previous routines, particularly Gaynor's and I felt it was expecting a little much to make them choreograph the routines all by themselves in five days.

I also thought having them create a Bolero routine and not get to perform it because they were third was also unfair. I don't understand why they couldn't all have skated Bolero earlier in the show and that been voted on, instead of all that flying nonsense.

I agree that having the former contestants just skate on and wave was disappointing. Couldn't they have done a short routine?

And having Jayne and Chris's performance of Bolero so drastically cut down spoilt it too.

I personally enjoyed previous shows more than the final one, but maybe it is just because I am sad it has ended.

Having said all that, it was a great entertainment show and I hope it comes back on our screens. Well done Stefan for coming second!
