Primal Scream

Who else has heard of them?
I'd just heard of 5 or 6 songs so I went out and bought 3 of their albums today.
I think they are really good. I really like every song from Screamadelica and I don't think I'll be taking it out of my CD drive soon.
Off to buy another 2 albums tommorow.
They seem to sing many different types of music. If you just listen to Movin' on up, Rocks then Miss Lucifer you can really tell this.

Come Together is absolutely the dogs bits, Screamadelica definately their best album.

Off first look I thought 10mins! but I listened it and had to put it straight back on. Loaded is brill too.
I bought Screamadelica, Vanish point and Evil heat today. Screamadelica is definately the best of the three but I've heard a few tracks from Give out but don't give up so I'm off to buy that tommorow. Screamadelica is the only album I have where I like every song on it.

Dont bother with xterminator or their stuff older than Screamadelica (Groove something or other )

I have both of them and they have not come out of their sleeve after the first play

I suppose I could post them to you to listen to.

Aaww, that's strange, I thought Xterminator was second only to screamadilica. I don't listen often, but it's very innovative in my eyes...sorry ears!

Was gonna buy extrerminator tommorow too. I've heard Kill all Hippies and Exterminator and I like tham both. Is the rest of the album the same as these or not too good?

All of the evil heat album (excluding the last song) is like the song Exterminator (or Miss Lucifer) I think it's good but not half as good as Screamadelica (which everyone else in the house is telling me to turn off now)

You said it !

Innovation only happens once, unless youre a goldfish

Everyone obviously agrees on Screamadelica being the canine testicles, but not only for being innovative, its just so different, so complete and I suppose timeless, as it could be released today or in ten years and would still blow you away.

Xterminator does sound like a stop gap album released after the initial thoughts changed a number of times during production. Creative genius doesnt hang about on one suject for long

Well I bought Give out but don't give up today and left xterminator.
I really like this, just about as good as Screamadelica I think. Good job I have 2CD drives on my PC because they won't be moving from there for a while.

Thank You

I'd forgotten how good Screamadelica was and reading this thread made me take it out and give it a listen - Just as wonderful as ever
