I'm looking for an Amp (or Receiver) with Dolby Digital and dts for aroung £350-£450 street price. Seen the Sony 940, any alternatives of similar quality? (No nasty spring-clip terminals please).
If your looking for cheapish ones then I'd go for a sherwood one (I have a Sherwood R925 with DTS). You can usually get then from richer sounds (it was the best they had at the time) for about 300 quid (about 6 months ago).
What you get in each shop varies and the prices you pay so I think it was just luck that I got it at that price.
