She is the best I've seen on TV for a long time and this show is going to springboard her.

I thought Tara was great last night, but tonight I'm not too sure - she came over as too high-maintainance and manipulative for my liking - I have to admit she is entertaining though. And I think I'll be buying her and Darren's OK! magazine cover when they come out as a couple in a month or so, that's got to be the story of the show when its all over, non?!

How could she fail to fall head over heels for Darren's sexy "having a conversation with my own knob in my born-again-mockney-accent" routine? I was so impressed with the quality result he got that I'm going to try this at work tomorrow. Seriously though she's the star of the show much like J*d* was and for much the same reasons - bit of a baby but you just can't help yourself liking them for it... Awww, I'd look after her.... And who'd have thought TPT would beat Nell to be the first to appear dressed as Lara Croft for her bug shower?

Does anyone else get the impression Tony Blackburn and Nell McAndrew are actually staying at a nearby hotel and just pop in to visit the rest of them for five contractual obligation minutes a day? Where the hell are they! Have they got some YTS work experience camera crew following them with all the professionals chasing Tara?

Did you see her at the end of the show when A&D had announced the person to do the trial and the closing credits were coming on and she was waving at the camera lmao

My fave Tara moment was when they were wading thought the jungle to camp and Darren stumbled and commented how difficult just walking in the jungle is. Tara put on a 'commentry' voice and said:

"Darren Day - star of the West End stage. But this is the jungle - and all that singing won't help him now.."

And when she had the bug shower and was screaming going this is the worst day of my life and then said 'I love the jungle'

Well the rest of the contestants are busy setting up camp or moaning about the way people people are, in the case of Rohna - Tara is hopping round like the camp a bunny rabbit Tara so has to win!

I thought Tara was excellent on tonight's show; really sensible despite tosser Darren being really vile to her. And she is genuinely trying to get on with everyone.

I agree totally! I think she's really excelled today and shown herself in excellent light, despite Darren's chidish tantrums.

she is becoming a star in that sense. But then seriously it's no coincidence that it's the women who are proving to be the strong characters, and some of the men just behaving like spoilt childish brats...

I know, Nigel & Darren are being soooooooooo childish,: it's pathetic. I can't stand Rhona, myself, but I thought Tara giving her a pedicure was a really nice gesture & would have really helped the camp mood if the big babies hadn't gone & spoilt it!

And yeah, her efforts with Rhona, desite not being able to stand her, were admirable. Spoilt only by Darren's stupid attitude.

I thought Darren was trying, despite being a complete mong. Rhona, though, seemed to revert to "me, me, me!" in the crappy Ant'n'Dec chatty bit. Sorry, but she's been so useless that I treat anything she says with deep, deep suspicion.

I think just maybe Darren might be realising that the only person he is hurting my his behaviour is himself and the person who actually cares about him the most - Tara. He needs to chuck his alliance with Nigel - it ain't healthy. Nigel has already isolated himself methinks.

No, it wasn't nasty to say that. She was just saying what she had expected. What was nice about Tara was that despite the fact that Rhona the Moaner is the last person she would choose to give a pedicure to, she went ahead & did it, with no complaint, and actually seemed to end up having quite a nice chat with her. Plus, she was mature enough to stick up for herself when Darren had a go, & said that she just wanted everyone to get on. Personally, in this situation, I think 'anything for a quiet life' is a relatively sensible position to take.

Didn't you feel just a ikkle bit that the edits people were trying really hard to keep Rhona out of the picture as much as possible? They chopped the thing with Uri and Rhona just at the point Rhona was pleading with Uri to think about her option of doing stuff - then CUT! Neither did we see any more of them searching for the box... maybe there was some argument about where to find it, and Uri is equally as stubborn as Rhona at times. Tonight was really the Tara and Darren show... so hardly surprising that darren got the task votes. And where was Nigel all day? Not one edit of him at all?

I'm beginning to feel that the show editing is actually very very unfair. And Ant and Dec are the real stirrers and opinion makers where the sheep will follow - a bit more neutrality wouldn't go amiss.

Tara is fantastic and is the one who will do the best out of this program. This will open up loads of opportunities for her like what happened for claire sweeney after celeb big bro. She has got rid of her image as a spoilt princess and has shown herself to be a really nice person.

But it was Tara who went along with it merrily despite it all, too. It's only later when a mini argument came about that she even brought it up, and only then as a side comment to pointing out how she was doing it to get the group back together.

Yes, I agree to a certain extent. Maybe Rhona was trying to keep quiet for once? (Am trying to give the editors the benefit of the doubt!)

I quite agree. She may come out with some terrible hippy nonsense at times, but she seems a very genuine, nice, kind girl.
