Mesostim, I didn't say it was all Rhona's fault - but she certainly seems to be the one who starts all the aggro. I would certainly presume that Tara is more popular than Rhona, I'm sure I will find out if I am wrong - but I think the bookies' odds show that.

Tara would be more popular - that's fairly obvious........That's why similar behavior towards each is viewed differently.......For Tara to cry it demands sympathy, for Rhona to cry it's just crafty (only one example).

We don't actually know who the other celeb in the alleged photo finish phone vote with Darren was - it may have been Rhona.

If, however, as I tend to suspect, she wasn't in the frame and the other possible victim was Nigel then that could well be not totally unconnected with the fact that most of us thought she'd be on a plane back home by now!

Certainly I for one thought a vote for Rhona was a wasted vote and chose between Nigel and Darren. To be honest I would probably have voted for Darren anyway mind you!

No for Tara to cry it is frustration simply because she is emotionally immature. Rhona's tears are pique - resentment and irritation at having one's pride wounded.

Why does almost everyone seem to think that Rhona was just crying to get sympathy? I believe she was genuinely upset. Supposing her crying was just an act - she'd been trying to act tough and keep her composure all week. Why would she suddenly decide to change tact and turn on the waterworks like a little girl?
I take it more seriously when a normally stoic and composed person like Rhona breaks down in tears than when some flaky little bimbo like Tara starts blubbing.

Definately! Nigel and Darren are certainly in the wrong, but Rhone is far more so, and certain people are totally bind to that fact!

I quite agree, Cybele. I couldn't believe it when she started getting cross about what they had to wear. That's also when I started to like Christine, who was so upbeat about the (admittedly rather horrible) red trousers.

hey , we all have different takes on them. Meostim has his, you have yours and I have mine. Im 100% behind mesotim on Rhona, I think shes been very hard done by. I disagree with him about Tara, I like her, but thats my opinion.

Ok, what I meant by that is that she isn't trying to play the "I'm a girl and I'm vulnerable, please protect me" schtick like Tara.
I know she hasn't always retained her composure but she hasn't been a wimp at any point.

Some people cry easily - I'm one of them! I weep at all sorts of ridiculous things. It doesn't mean that I expect people to protect me, & I don't think Tara meant it like that either. It also doesn't mean that I might not be genuinely upset. Rhona obviously doesn't cry particularly easily. What Rhona does easily is insult other people, be extremely bossy & moan a lot. This tends to cause arguments, and I really think that if you go round causing fights, you must expect to be upset at some point. I don't see that Rhona deserves any more sympathy for crying than Tara. In fact, I think she deserves less, as the situation which made her cry is of her own making.

I'm finding the notoriety comforting I know my opinions aren't to everyones tastes, but that's the nature of forums. I am unique incidently (which we all are or we'd end up agreeing..Yawn )
