Telephone handsets with call barring feature?

I am trying to get a new set of digital cordless telephones to use with my broadband service. I currently own a set - the BT Synergy 2150 bought 4 years ago - that offers me the feature to set up call barring from the handsets by specifying number prefixes, e.g. "07". Very useful when you have a partner and kids like mine
I have trawled through several catalogues and downloaded User Guides for many of the newer telephones, but none seem to have this feature anymore.

Sadly, the BT Synergy 2150 phones are no longer produced as new, and none of the newer models seem to have this feature. Can anyone on this forum recommend telephone makes/models that offer this feature??

Don't know of any, but you could try this instead. Good luck.

The orchoid V4 dialler is very flexable provided the numbers are in the Orchoid 'pick list' .......and if there not they will add them for you....for free.

So it would be possible to translate something like "09" to a spare BT code. The dialler plugs into the standard BT line jack and then the onwards connection is from the dialler, again with a standard BT line jack socket.

You can program the V4 via a web interface.

You can just block 09 numbers.

You can also translate for example all 118 nnn numbers to the freephone DQ service 0800 0192 190
