Uri has said he won't be using any psychic powers whilst in the jungle, he says it is that it would be unfair, but call me an unbeliever but is it that he hasn't got any?

On tonight's show he laid hands on Rhona's tummy to help her with her tummy upset. His face was classic when Ant and Dec asked her if it had helped and she said there was no medical benefit.

Can't see that bending spoons is going to be a huge help in facing the challenges of the rainforest, anyway.

Or does he do any other tricks?

Uri's a fraud of course - but should we leave him into suffer or get rid of him quickly in order to let him know what we think of him. I'm not sure.

What about Medallion Man's theory - that if you're voted out first, the public like you and don't want you to suffer?

The British public took him very seriously when they wanted D Beschams foot fixed. Maybe it's more about how much you 'want to believe him.

Isn't it more the case that the Sun / GMTV took him more seriously than the rest of us?

Mr Beckham's foot healled around the same time as the doctors originally said it would.

So it must be true, Uri must have the power to let bones heal naturally on their own. I believe in you Uri no really.

Right everybods...

I want you to concentrate hard on the word 'tosser'
empty all other thoughts from your mind and just concentrate on that one word.

I'm sure we'll be told if it worked.

There's being different for Ironic Amusement value, Mesostim, and then there's being a twit.

I think what made me so angry about his 'conversation' with TPT was the fact that he was clearly trying to winkle out her areas of low self esteem, and make her feel more vulnerable, in a 'caring, good guy' kind of way. This was what he was also trying to do with Nell, but didn't manage.

On the surface of it, the Uri's of the world are harmless, and not everybody has to believe the same thing, wouldn't it be boring, etc. But what we saw there was the trick of a conman - reduce the self confidence of someone who already has self esteem problems, only later to come back and 'save' them, making them dependent on him. In real life, the people who are dependent on the conman then pay him lots of money - have you seen Uri's website? - in this game he's hoping to swing everyone around to his side. To me, his tactics are completely unethical and could possibly even be psychologically damaging in the long run.

Yes, it's a game, and they've taken the shilling, and so are up for criticism from us. But there is a line, and that line is where personal and psychological damage can happen. One of those moments occured when Kate and Jonny were drinking that punch; another occured when Uri was tearing Tara's psyche to shreds in public.

I bet you top dollar tonight, that we'll see him try to 'council' her before this maggot shower things, worming the tendrils even deeper into her psyche.

When it happens in the real world marriages are broken up and people are sent bankrupt by the money they give these conment. In no way is it 'amusing'.

Glad I'm not the only one who came to this viewpoint. And on top of all that I think we'll find him to be a bit of a letch as well. Evidence seen in the coldwater swim episode....clearly undressing the ladies with his eyes....

Never did like him......!

Agree, and also you saw her visibly getting quite deflated after that little 'pep' talk. She was prepared to be quite candid and talk about her experience but he used it as an opportunity to indoctrinate her. I'm sure he is well meaning overall but he is just too earnest and very annoying.
