Good on you Tara
Wasn't Tara great, she was obviously that nervous but still went ahead and got through all eight. And God can't she scream, she should keep her mouth shut though. I haven't seen anyone shake as much since I took my Mrs on the Nemisis. And no clean Shower!!!!
I like her a lot

The bugs etc. hardly touched her. They should have made her stand directly under the shower.

Yah for Tara. I'm so glad I don't have smell-o-vision - stinky, slimy pond weed and bugs aren't renowned for their use of deodrant....
I'm not surprised she was sick, I was baulking just watching as I have a similar aversion to creepy-crawlies so I think she did wonderfully. |

Originaly posted by -Warpath- Yes she did lean out of the shower, but to have got into the shower in the first place I think showed imense courage, considering the state she had got herself into.

Well technically she was leaning forward - and so would you!
It's also true that only the fact she'd forgotten the words needed to escape stopped the whole thing coming a halt pretty damn quickly. Nevertheless she did it - and rejected the shower with no hesitation. Plus I liked the maggots jokes. Well done! Giving her the snake challenge as well would be really unfair, mean and miserable. Incidentally - "We opened the phone lines last night" - when was that then lads? |

That woman has a chip on her shoulder the size of Cornwall... and no way of approaching other people except for full-on confrontation. And who did you vote for today, Dr. D., now that you've got being mean to Tara out of your system?

Tara did very well, you could see she was genuinly disturbed over it but still went through it all. Everyone would lean forward its a normal reflex, I know I couldn't have stood there, would have probably had a heart attack. One large spider sends me into panic attacks
I felt sorry for her to suffer all that and refuse the shower so all could enjoy a meal only for it to be ruined by arguements. Totally disrespectful, they should have just been happy to have the food. |

I think Tara did well - it was obvious that she was trying not to retch! Christine was right when she said the group were being ungrateful because they argued rather than just sitting down to enjoy their chicken meal...what is Rhona's problem?!

i didn't vote early (cos i didn't realise the lines were open) but I did vote Uri.
I'm quite satisfied with Nigel doing the snakes though. He and Rhonna both really gave me the pip. |

Fair play - She did it all and missed the shower. I'll give her that - Anyone would do it though....it doesn't take supernatural courage. I'd have been more impressed if she'd been right under it, hadn't puked and had just smiled right through. Good on Ronna giving her some hints on how to be a better person as well - She'll be more mature for it. Shame she didn't get the snakes, I'd like to see if the hypnotism worked.....

Natural reflexes would make you lean forward. If she stood straight under it smiling then it would show she was faking and wasn't scared of them in the first place. |

Tara is not everyones cup of tea but I now like her as she does not pretend to be anything other than what she is. She has no pretensions to any particular talent and accepts that she is famous just for being famous

Agreed
I have seen Tara in a new light from when she appeared drunk or high on the Frank Skinner show some time ago. BTW. How exactly did she become famous, my wife asked me and all I could think of was she was famous for being famous. Andy |

It sort of goes round in circles as, if she is famous for being famous why was she famous in the first place, well thats easy because she is famous for being famous, well thats easy ...................... |

Hints! Rhonna doesn't do hints - she conducts therapy sessions with her in the chair, bless her heart!
Rhonna was trying to deflect the discussion from whether she is or is not a heinous bitch (btw on the whole I think she isn't) and just tried to start a group encounter session with the first person not to support her as the subject/victim. Oddly enough not everybody is into amateur pyschology after a trying day including being showered in maggots, bugs and general garbage. Still if Rhonna wants to have an argument there will be an argument come Hell or high water! |

She gets mentioned a lot in the press. Never flattering. Her TV interviews are always embarrasing as well.......

I couldn't have done it and regardless of the fact that she stuck her head out the maggots and bugs were clearly all down her back and on her shoulders. I had to laugh though when she told the others that she could have had a shower for giving up TWO meals instead of one. She gets mentioned a lot in the press. Never flattering.
