Do you squeeze the toothpaste from the bottom like any sensible bloke or are you given to grabbing the tube willy-nilly without due care and attention like most of the women of my acquaintence?
<David who always puts the seat down and usually has to get the blasted loo paper out himself due to other certain people's lack of basic training! |

loo-roll holder unfilled - correct toothpaste in the middle - noooooooooooo that's X chromosome behaviour I detect cross-gender bathroom behavioural traits. 100% Bloke status denied , pending intensive therapy.

Originally posted by meteormadness I couldn't disagree with you more. I have had personal experience of Rhona and she is quite possibly the most difficult, argumentative, controlling person I have ever encountered. I agree we're not seeing the whole picture - we're not seeing what is clearly driving the others mad. All of them, with the exception of Uri have commented on Rhona being difficult - its because she is. All the tension within the group centres around her. Do the maths. You know I didn't know of Rhona before this show started & when I watched the first episode I thought she was going to add some life to it, she really made me laugh etc... I have to admit that I have cringed a bit as she argued, thinking "no please dont - everyone will just hate you for it" I think there's an awful lot we're not being shown, partly because (as others have said) Rhona's sexuality has been brought up on numerous occasions. Whether Rhona has a chip on her shoulder, or whether Nigel & others have been making snide comments, we may never know, but I definately think there's more to all this than meets the eye. We must not forget that the TV company wants viewers & they will attract viewers by any means. If there is nothing hidden, then it certainly looks like Rhona is being a pain. I still don't think it's that cut & dry though... I think Rhona is just comfortable with telling people when they are being unfair etc... (& let's face it, Both Nigel & Tara are not going to be used to being told!). Sure the arguments are over petty things, but things that seem petty to us - out there they are now quite important issues - Rhona is standing by her beliefs & values, and she's not in the slightest bit two-faced. I still like Rhona (and am not keen on either Nigel or Darren), and amazingly like Tara more than I thought I would - although I'm starting to think she's manipulative & knows exactly what she's doing! I'm going to give Rhona the benefit of the doubt & continue to support her, she's just one of these people that doesn't "play the game" - you know the one, the one where you act all girlie, flirty & silly so all the guys like you! & unfortunately, people who don't play this game are never very popular with guys like Darren. So, let's wait & see what tonight brings & whether being 'buried alive' makes her more or less popular? BTW, I didn't like the way Tara sat & smirked when Rhona's name was called out, especially after how supportive Rhona was of Tara. ~ Anyone else think the TV company is going to portray each of them badly for a day each, so that they each get chosen to do a trail thingy? ~ Oh, & as for the pint of milk thingy? Yep, Rhona was a bit of a bad loser. I think she's concerned now about being disliked & was worried that they'd all hate her for getting it wrong...? If they're not careful, by the end of the week, Rhona is not going to be saying anything... :'( And I laughed out loud when Rhona pretended to be claustrophobic. Rubbish. She has a vomit phobia and that's it. |

I have to say, I'm with Rhona, the rest of them deal with problems in the way they are used to (moan, divert attention, ignore). Rhona attacks them head on. Normally this would sort things out, but she made the assumption that she was dealing with rational human beings.
Sadly, not many 'celebrities' (itself a poor choice of word for these misfits) fit into the rational (let alone) human category. A victim of her own intellect. |

Actually even Uri agreed she was difficult but put it down to her personal problems.

Perhaps Rhona's just sexually frustrated because she fancies the pants off Tara, who only has eyes for Darren . . . . . . . ? |

Tara is playing on the fact that she is good shape etc & assumes Rhona fancies her. Probably why Tara is upset with Rhona arguing with her, she's realised Rhona doesn't fancy her!...? |

Eek When I said Tara is in good shape, I meant that she thinks she is in good shape. She is obviously proud of her body cos she keeps prancing around in her bikini etc... I bet she's one of those people that keeps saying she's fat just so everyone will tell her how thin she is! Bet she keeps saying how much she loves her food & I bet she never eats anything. (Does anyone think I'm jealous...? hehehe!) |

Originally posted by meteormadness As I said elsewhere I think that could be a factor in Rhona's attitude towards Tara. Rhona had said that Tara looked better for being a bit roughed up/less fem/whatever and Tara (probably inadvertently) made it sound as if Rhona was conforming to het stereotypes about predatory gays. I didn't actually think anybody else looked as if they took it seriously but Rhona definitely sounded miffed!
I think Tara's early comment about Rhona saying she was dishy really bugged Rhona. |
