ntl message service problem
A few days ago I received several voicemail messages that I particularly wanted to keep, and chose option 5 to keep them.
But when I went in to play them today, they weren't there. Yet I'm not imagining what I did, and I definitely heard the auto voice say "message kept". So what's the point in having this facility if I can't later retrieve the message I've saved

Free Voicemail
No your on the Free voicemail service in a ex-Videotron area.
Whats happened is that this type of voicemail saves and allows up to 10 messages in your mailbox at any time and allows you to save the message for up to 3 to 7 days. This voicemail service is also used by Telewest in all its franchises. A solution to this is to upgrade your voicemail to the advanced one which is £1.75 per month from NTL and lets you save messages for up to 30 days and lets you save/allow up 30 messages. If your in a nynex,Bell Cable or Cable Tel area, i'm sure its a different voicemail platform. Its all to do with the different telephone system and how it operates since all these companies were once all seperate and independent of each other. You'll also find that the calling feature codes may vary in each area accordingly. |
