I've just upgraded my K750i using Davinci, and it's great not to have any branding on the phone at all.

Have noticed a marked difference in the whole operation on the phone.

I've stuck with K750i firmware, as I had read some people were having problems with flashing the K750i with W800i firmware!!

Guess what everyone?

My joysticks playing up Yay!
Looks like its gonna have to go back to P4U for repair, and I wont leave till its sent off!
Its only 3 months old!

My w800i still works but heres the bits that annoy...

Battery life is now craper than crap [joys of mp3]

It glows pink in night clubs [not good when getting a birds number]

Transfering large files 9 times outa 10 fails

On the plus side

Joystick is still OK

Last week i dropped my phone and it bounced in
what seemed slow motion down a flight of stairs
and it still works...

I read somewhere that the joystick problem can be solved(most of the time) by getting an air canister, and using the straw that usually comes with them to gently blow the area around the joystick.

Not sure if it does help, but surely it's worth a try?

Mine's still fine even though it's about 4 or 5 months old...
