The latest claims are that we will see some trailers at the end of this month, although no source seems to have been quoted so far.

BBC Wales are having a press conference on 28th March, the first trailers and the confirmed broadcast date will be released then.

Last year, they did start showing the trailers about a month before the debut, however April 15th, despite being widely rumoured, has still yet to be confirmed as the start date, so technically we still could be more than a month away from Series 2

Well 'Strictly Dance Fever' returns on April 1st, and if I remember correctly that started on the same evening as Doctor Who last year, so this again supports an April start for Series 2

It's likely to be April 15th and here's why. There's a new seies launch in Cardiff on March 28th I believe, so that gives them a chance to get publicity for the series. Then UK Gold is showing the whole of the Eccleston series over the weekend of April 8th & 9th, now they wouldn't show that on the same day as the BBC series starts so that means the following week of Saturday 15th is when it'll be on. Plus April 15th is Easter weekend and that's when the last series started.

There's an article on the official BBC doctor who website that talks about the next edition of DWM - it has the launch date in it.

Time to place the bets...15th April?
