Syed from Apprentice: What do you think of him.
Judging from last week, i know Syed is not exactly the most popular contestant considering he has an arrogant type of attitude, but i am seeming to warm to him now alittle, and i think he should stay for longer because i think he has got the drive to become the apprentice. Sure he's not too intellegent because his mouth talks more than his brain, but i think he has so much confidence, drive and even charisma. I think Syed along with Jo will be remembered in this series, i hope they both don't get eliminated too early because they add great viewing, even if both of them do drive you up the wall, one who can't stop moaning and the other who can't stop crying. But i got the gut feeling he might get the axe this week because from looking at the apprentice forum somewhere there was a picture of Syed, Alexa, who i think was the PM for that marquee task, and Tuan sitting in boardroom waiting for Sir Alan to get someone fired, and i am hoping it's not Syed. I mean what do you think of him, i think he really should stay, even Adrian Chillie and others in the mini program 'You're Fired' even said that he has calm down, and last week negotiating task he was in control, even though he's team would have lost had the girls got their tyre, but even then i think if Syed's team lost i don't think Syed would have gotten the axe. What do you think. I am just worried that Sir Alan told Syed in week 1 in the boardroom firing line that his card are marked, so hoping it's not Syed who will be going home this week. Classic quote from Syed, 'Sir Alan, we're from the same background, we both lived in council flats' I was peeing my pants when i heard that.

He's dreadful. He's this year's Paul. And he'll go on through to the final. When thingy whatsit (?Duncan) from Dragon's Den said he'd hire him, I knew I lived on the wrong planet. Mind you - who gets fired is down to the producers not AS anyway.

I like Syed, he's an interesting character and that's what makes good TV.
I liked Paul last series as well. |

Classic line from Sir Alan from last series:
Paul: I'm a Catholic, I never tell lies Sir Alan: Well I'm Jewish, and i don't give a monkeys. I agree with Shappy, Syed along with Jo, Ruth and Mani are at the moment stand-out character. I know the Apprentice is about continuous hard-work, but these characters do make great tv, and i think Syed does work hard, he seems to have clamed down lately, and i think if he last quite to the end it will be very interesting to see if he'll develop even more, at the moment he is doing quite well, he's obviously got alot of drive. |

I think he's a typical cocky arrogant City tosser that you see in wine bars talking TOO LOUDLY and flashing the cash on any night of the week. In week one he was portrayed as an idiot (A Team) but last week he did seem to do an OK job as Project Manager. He could be the man for the job. I don't LIKE him, but he might have the savvy to go far in the "competition".

Well he really messed up in last nites episode, but was saved again because there had to be one person fired, and i think the right decision was made. Alexa was out of her depth, and quite frankly was too much of a pushover, but bless her, she knew her team did more than terrible but still kept her head high and shed no tears. But as for Syed, let's face it, in order for him to survive now he has to either stay in a winning team, or blend into the background, and that means being less cocky and arrogant, which is a shame because i think he makes great tv viewing, either that or else he will get the axe, which i hope does not happen. I know next week Syed will be teamed with Paul, who i heard is the PM, Ruth, Michelle and Sharon, and i got the feeling their team will lose because at the end when they show a preview it emphasises alot on their team in the boardroom, so hoping Syed will not be on the firing line, he has personality and adds great tv. Found it funny when he was making comparison between Mani's marquee and then looking back at his team marquee, you can tell that he really wanted to be PM for that task, and if he was i think he would have done tons and tons alot better than Alexa. I still won't doubt Syed, i think he has alot to offer, and admitted to his mistake in the boardroom instead of being a parrot in the last boardroom session with Sir Alan. Was surprised by his quiet behavior in the boardroom, i think even Sir Alan was too, but again he did defend himself, but what saved him from getting fired this week was not because he defended himself, but because he was not confronted about over-ordering those 100 chickens by Alexa, who was suppose to be team leader, and also the fact that there had to be one person who went home, and that was Alexa. Syed is hanging on with an inch of a string, i wish him luck and hope that next week he can take a break from the firing line, because i don't know what else can save him for the third time.

This is a bloke that thinks reading the Managerial Leadership manual qualifies him as a good leader. He is full of soundbites and cliches. A dreadful character only surviving because of his viewability and annoyance factor.

what I think of him could be summed up in two word phrases!
oily tosser yes man sly backstabber I think he's the kind of bloke so convinced of his own self importance he would say or do absolutely anything to ingratiate himself to Sir Alan (or anyone else if he thought it would be to his personal financial advantage) I strongly suspect hes single as he simply wouldn't like to devote any of the time he spends massaging his own ego to considering somebody else........to sum it up he's a vain self obssessed wannabe and no I do not like him!!!! |

Paul last night really turned me off him, beating Syed in the 'loving my work' status. 'I am the apprentice and so much better than everyone else'.
Creases me when Syed falls straight on his arse, but still 'delivers 110%'! |

Their ability to "big themselves up" whilst failing miserably, never ceases to amaze me.
I reckon Paul, Michelle and Ruth will be 3 of the final four. Probably Paul to win. Rudi ™

Syed is unmissable - we all know blokes like that don't we? And it's great to see them so exposed for once- only problem is that they typically won't recognise themselves...
Syed to win I say - it takes one tosser to work for another. |

I met Syed on Thursday on the Docklands Light Railway. He was a nice guy.
He wouldn’t give away who has won. All he did say was that after the Car task the show had calmed down, well with Jo gone, yes, that's a given. I did mention how he has been portrayed badly in the editing of the show. From my first impression of meeting him, I have to agree. I’m sure at some point he might read some of these posts. So Syed if you wouldn't mind getting in touch. To verify it is you would you describe what I had tied around my neck (colour)? I have an interesting business idea for your company. With me being from the Isle of Man with its zero percent corporation tax scheme and my business contacts here, it might be useful to talk to me sometime. I have actually formed my own IT company and in any case I might require your service. For security reasons I am giving out an email address I use on forums. manxrugby@gmail.com Please do not ignore this post Syed, although I really think that it is worth your time. |

Why didn't you just give him your details when you met him?
His websire address is www.syed-ahmed.com There should be some kind of contact details on there - you'll probably have more luck getting in touch with him through that. |

What else did he say. Was he really nice, and was he in anyway like the way he was undeservedly portrayed on telly. |

What to say about Syed???? Here's a few things that spring to mind...
Slimy Sleazy Backstabbing Lying Bulls****ing Two-faced Slopey-shouldered Conniving Odious Up-himself Conceited Brown-nosing I could carry on for hours. I really don't like him (anyone guess that??) I thought his "performance" during the Top Shop challenge, where he sleazed/perved all over that poor girl in the changing room was so gross; it made me dislike him even mmore than I already did!!!!! And the way he said to the PM (can't remember her name) during the toast he made (why, FFS! It wasn't his place to do that!!!!) when they went for their winning meal was bang out of order: "You look lovely by the way" He'd been ripping her to bits during the challenge and he thinks he rules the chuffing roost! muffster |

Don't think the word "tosser" has been used yet.
LOL I see it has. To the person who wants to work with him, I wish you both well xxxx |
