Vote Uri to eat the maggots campaign
From the hints that Ant and Dec were dropping at the end of the programme last night, the Bush Tucker task announced tomorrow may well be the maggot eating one that we were all expecting.
Except that, by now, I think it's fairly certain that we're up against block voting from the Gellerites. I think the only chance we have to get Uri to do that task is to get the reality TV following media on our side. This would be Terry Wogan, Chris Moyles, and RI:SE. I've already emailed Wogan and Moyles. If you agree with me, could as many people as possible email these people, expressing your desire to have them get behind the campaign to have Uri eat maggots. It's best if you phrase it in your own words, giving your own reasons. email addies: wogan@bbc.co.uk chris.moyles@bbc.co.uk Don't have the RI:SE one to hand, but it may be mark@risetv.co.uk |

I'm on the phone! Will he shout 'I'm a celebrity' because he is a veggie? It's a bit mean if he has to do it. Nah! Only jokin! This one sounds right up Uri's street top me!

He just wouldn't do it and we'd just be treated to a vegan rant - so there's no point.

Let's see as they realise they don't get dinner He just wouldn't do it and we'd just be treated to a vegan rant - so there's no point.

On Uri's website, which I think is www.urigeller.com there is a plea for Uri's supporters to vote for Tara. I personally think that's a bit off.

I had a look at the site and even made the supreme sacrifice of registering for their forum!
Frankly the site and forum don't look organised enough to run a serious lobbying campaign. As for telling people how to vote - I think the bit posters are referring to is the "Who do you want to carry out the task? The answer is ****". BUT so far as I can see the blank is just filled out with the "lucky" loser from the previous day. At the moment for instance Rhona's name is up. Doubtless the first time somebody logged on Tara's name was on the site and it looked as if the site was conducting a successful lobby. So - as far as I can make out the Gellerites may well be seriously weird but there is a lack of conspiracy evidence. Shame really! |

Oh. Well I take back the bit about them trying to sway the vote, then. The first time I looked, I thought it was telling people who to vote for - must have misunderstood.
