I always thought collectively that the men are the best and now with only four women left, one who acts like a physco it must be a man who gets hired,

What is everyones opinion

Man. Series 3 will have a female winner.

I think it will be a man.

Sir Alan seems to have a very low opinion of women in business - and they're not doing enough to prove him wrong.

Most women I know wouldn't put up with being spoken to the way he speaks to them anyway. He is always excused his bluntness as it is seen as "barrow boy charm" but in alot of organizations he'd be considered old fashioned and sexist. But he's the boss...

A man. It pains me to say so, but they've chosen piss-poor women for the show this year. The first female to be fired (can't remember her name) had the social and negotiating skills of a dead seal, Karen was OK but probably too reserved and sensible to work for Sir Alan, and Alexa put me in mind of a primary-school teacher speaking to five-year-olds.

Of the remaining women, Ruth reminds me of a bulldog, there are two girls who are alsmost complete non-entities (except for when the camera panned to the blonde girls' face when Jo returned from the board room, she looked like someone had force-fed her Mr Muscle oven cleaner) and Jo behaves like a small child the night before Christmas who's had far too much fizzy.... and she's like that all the time Too annoying!

Ruth may remind you of a bulldog, but she does at least display a little common sense unlike any of the other females. How do they pick these dizzy examples of the female species?
Theres two men who seem to have been a little quiet, but I think its working to their advantage (Ansell and Paul) as the other men step forward and demonstrate their inability to get things done.
I think they should pick people with no business experience or training at all for the next one, they'd probably do better in most of the tasks

I met Syed on Thursday on the Docklands Light Railway. He was a nice guy.

He wouldn’t give away who has won. All he did say was that after the Car task the show had calmed down, well with Jo gone, yes, that's a given.

I did mention how he has been portrayed badly in the editing of the show. From my first impression of meeting him, I have to agree.

I’m sure at some point he might read some of these posts. So Syed if you wouldn't mind getting in touch. To verify it is you would you describe what I had tied around my neck (colour)? I have an interesting business idea for your company.

With me being from the Isle of Man with its zero percent corporation tax scheme and my business contacts here, it might be useful to talk to me sometime. I have actually formed my own IT company and in any case I might require your service. For security reasons I am giving out an email address I use on forums. manxrugby@gmail.com

Please do not ignore this post Syed, although I really think that it is worth your time.

Michelle is a dark horse. I expect and hope she'll make the final 4, unless she turns out to be rubbish as Project Leader. I won't be suprised if she wins it.

I completely share that view, but also agree it will depend on how Michelle performs as a PM. I'd like her to win it and I believe she has a strong chance of doing this, as things stand.

You just fancy her. Tee hee.

Expect her to get bounced into Jo's vacant spot in the other team, after falling out with the rest of her team (or, to be precise, they fell out with her).

I find Michelle strangely attractive Maybe its because of the low cut tops she sometimes wears!

I think she's attractive, yes - but I also genuinely believe (from what we've seen so far) that she's much better than some of the other candidates on the show. I expect the entire teams to be shuffled around because of last week's shenanigans too!

So are you saying that it's got absolutely nothing to do with the vast amount of shots with her just in a towel or wearing nothing at all in bed too?

My money's on Ruth at the moment. She may be a stroppy cow, but she's good. (Or maybe she was just outstanding in the car selling task).

I would hate her as a boss, but still prefer her to smarmy Syed or arrogant Paul.

But, it's still relatively early days, and given some of the monumental cock ups they've made, anything could happen.

This is a cracker of a series though. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

I'm not sure she'll win, but I do expect her to make the final four. Ultimately, you just never know!

I agree that Ruth is the best salesperson, but whether or not she's the best apprentice is a different qustion. I think SAS is looking for the best "all-rounder" so he can train them - and it's a question of whether or not Ruth fits that profile!

I have to say he'd be great! I don't know if you're aware, but he was in an episode of a show called "the Green Wing" yesterday!

Neither have I, but I saw a thread on it in the TV Programmes forum pointing out he was in it. I think he might get a bit of extra work now he's been on The Apprentice - well I hope so, I'm sure there's always a need for people to be looking at their watch or "enjoying" themselves in a chair!

I thought the funniest thing he said was when he was interviewed on the "You're Fired" programme after he'd been on the show. Adrian Chiles made reference to him looking like he was "enjoying himself" while he was in the chair, but he said, "no I was just looking at my watch - I wish I had been doing something else!" Everybody in the audience was in hysterics!
