Is Michelle Ryan (Zoe Slater) coming back to EE or isn`t she? I know she`s been gone a while with *nervous exhaustion*, but jeez. You`d think she`d let the EE PTB know one way or the other by now so they can either
a) kill her off
b)recast her character
c)fire her
d)welcome her back with open arms like she`s never been away

Time is running out Michelle. The EE fans aren`t going to buy that postcard/letter explanation for much longer, Give us some credit.

Would it be realistic if Zoe just turned up after two weeks away? I don't think so. The girl needed time to clear her head, both on and off-screen, and I hope Michelle takes all the time she needs to get better.

hey gareth I hope she is better too but I just think that it's time to make some sort of decision. as far a replacing her goes...I guess I am just use to what they do on US soaps....they replace people all of the time.......you get use to the new one pretty quickly and the story continues.

Maybe they could replace her with another Slater sister.....

Good one. They would never hear her with all of the screaming they do.....maybe she went deaf from living in that house. Someone else mentioned that it could be Zoe on this site to go up in flames and it makes sence if she has already decided to leave the show....they keep saying it is someone unexpected....so maybe she came back home for a visit and fell asleep in her bedroom....of course the rest of the family is at the Vic.....house goes up..poof.....everyone in the square is accounted for....but who is the second remains......whhaaaa laaaaa Zoe. I can hear the wailing of Kat already here in the states....and of course she will blame Ant Knee or anyone else. Well it was fur to speculate on this.....maybe the writers are reading this board.

As she recenly suffered a nervous breakdown in real life she was scripted out of the show.
Zoe is meant to send a postcard to home from Menoraca to say she is ok but there is no indicator as when she will re-appear back on the show in the mean time.

I thought the cat turned up a couple of weeks ago, has it gone again since then ?

The US are 3 weeks behind the UK on EE so we`ll probably see that episode this Saturday

My first post, after months of lurking

I read the other day (I forget where, may have been the News of the World) that Michelle Ryan has now recovered from her depression and is now back on set, apparently, or at least due back very soon.

Forgive the sketchy details, I can't seem to remember where I read it!
