Darren Day's girlfriend says she trusts him not to have a fumble in the jungle with Tara Palmer-Tomkinson on ITV's celebrity survivor show.

Tara confessed she fancied Darren on last night's programme and said there was an "obvious attraction" between them.

But Darren's girlfriend of nine months, dancer Adele Vellacott, insists she has nothing to worry about.

Adele, 22, from Newport, Gwent, said: "I don't know what all the fuss is about. Darren and I trust each other 100% and what people are seeing is just his fun and loving personality.

"Having a laugh with someone is very different to loving someone. I'm happy and very comfortable to see Darren being kind and supportive."

I hope she's right - but i wouldn't put the mortgage on it!

After all laughing and loving are indeed very different but so are loving and indulging in a quick bit of nooky.
