I Missed last nights show but was glad to hear the obnoxious Rhona has been voted for the 'Buried alive' challenge

Does anyone know what the challenge actually is? I presume that they're not going to just dig a pit and cover her with the earth?

Most likely in a box, covered with sand or suchlike. Maybe a tube for air too

I wonder how long it'll last. Hope she doesn't mind the dark.

I have no idea what the task actually is. Last night, they did show clips of a pit being covered with branches and leaves, so I can imagine the task being a dinner is won for a set amount of time in the pit, e.g. 5 mins for each dinner or something.

Would they be evil enough to put a few bugs, spiders, etc in the pit?

Personally, I think they should leave the pudgy old trout buried. Best place for her.

Betcha most of the JMs agree too.

They said it was how they used to catch animals?? There's a hole in the ground not too dissimilar from what a coffin goes into and it gets covered by a cage like roof with leaves and stuff covering it so that it's not totally enclosed I guess. Then they are left there with the bugs and creepie crawlies, etc.

Rhona will do it I think but she'll make a HUGE deal out of what she is away to do/what she has just done!

I think shoving any creatures in there with her is going a bit far - although if they put Uri in as well it might be quite funny.

Rhona definately needs to be left in the pit with a few leeches and maybe a gag! What is her problem with Tara! I certainly wouldn't say Tara was being childish, just having a bit of fun like the rest of us would!

Well - to be honest Tara is a teensy bit underdeveloped but what the heck not all of us can be as intelligent, mature, socially integrated and self-aware as Rhonna.

I do feel sorry for Rhona. I think what she said to Tara was that she acted on occasions very child-like (rather than childish) and that was why she had started ot act in a parentla way and been bossy. Unfortunately she said it in such a way it sounded like an attack on Tara. This was when Rhona was hurt and upset. It's obvious she is feeling "got at" now and is feeling isolated. (Still it makes ofr fantastic viewing )

What a great idea!

Uri is definitely creepy, so he could be classed as a 'creepy crawly' with all the bugs and spiders.

Through him in the pit with Rhona, please!

I think some of the reaction to what Rhona said is way over the top - her criticism of Tara was very mild, and Tara is more than capable of standing up for herself.

I agree Rhona's not been particularly entertaining, but if she allows herself to be buried alive, my respect for her goes up 100%, I couldn't do it!

On a side note, I bet Uri thinks he's really popular in the outside world because he hasn't been nominated yet - please let it be him next time!

If hope they bury her & give her a tube to breath out of. They could then put spiders & creepy crawlies down it.

If I were there I would wee down it too.

Always the gentleman, BM.

It's good to see that some things in life don't change.
.

How's your BB4 application video going? I hope you're going to make it available on the internet. Has Kate donated a pair of her knickers for you to wear yet?

p.s. And studley, why are you agreeing with him? Is there a sudden rapprochement between arse and knob, the two polar extremities of the BB3 forum? You're getting soft in your old age....

Another unfair task.

It was shocking what they did to Rhona by getting somebody to grab her when she was in the trap after a said amount of time.

This was done to cause friction as she would not win all the meals.

Your wish is merely our command!

Though I do feel sorry for him. Once bolemic (I cant spell ok!) and now forced to eat huge creepy crawlies, there is something overly cruel there!

Grabbing at her was cruel, unnecessary and totally unfair. As somebody who suffers from claustophobia anyway she had quite enough to bear without that and the experience could well make her condition worse.

The producers need to get a grip here - it would be a move in the right direction if they decided the task after they knew who was going to nominated so as to at least avoid any genuine phobias of the selected victim.

Yes but if that happened they wouldnt really be challenges would they.

They would have just had someone there who didnt care about it and was happy to do it buried alive.

Someone who wasnt scared of maggots would have had the shower.

And Uri the snake could of gone and met his friends.

You can find something unpleasant or scary without being pathologically frightened at the mere suggestion of it!

For instance if i were in Uri's place I would have enormous difficulty in doing tomorrow's little banquet and doubtless provide great entertainment for the folks back home but the prospect wouldn't cause me mental distress or damage my pysche (probably).

Compared to how Tara was allowed to cop out of her task (if that's how she normally showers, she must stink!) & bask in the fact that she didn't even shower afterwards (she didn't have anything on her afterwards!), I thought this 'touching' of Rhona was unfair, no-one would stay in the pitch dark with that. I thought she should've only had to do a minute a meal anyway, Tara only did one handle a meal & Nigel on sstar a meal. This was way unfair!
