Help with broken Philips DVDR725H

Hi,

My almost one year old DVDR725H has lost the plot and jut sits and flashes its lights when I plug it in.

I bought it from amazon, but they're not interested... Can someone tell me who/where I should be calling in Philips to arrange a repair?

Also, am I likely to lose the contents of the HD when it does for repair? There's quite a lot of stuff on it I haven't seen...

Cheers!

Have a look here:

The contents of your HDD should be preserved, unless it is that component which is faulty.

If it's still within it's 1 year warranty, phone Amazon on 0800 279 6620 and INSIST they replace it or refund your money.

Remember it is Amazon with whom you have a contract.

Well Amazon can't repair it – only Philips can. And that's what I wanted, and that's what I got.

Took some time and hassle with getting the machine picked up, but it's been away and is now back, repaired and seemingly working.
