Estilo says at least you didn't get told of by Karen for being awful at orange rolling!

I will be talking about it for ages too Will post my photos when I get home and will probably also write about my experiences. It was def the best night of my life! I thought I would pass out as I told Daisy on here but I didn't. It felt strangely normal to talk to Karen after a while. She is soooooooo nice. You never guess what I did though, when I went to have my pic taken with her I stood on her foot with my heels, lol Embarrassing She wrote in my pink book. She wrote: to my nightmare forum girl after finding out that I was the top poster in her thread! She has been reading all our posts Daisy But she still likes us, she said she pops in every so often and that the posts make her feel good when she has a bad day.

I used Inners' account to make the posts as I was the only one who was still vaguely conscious enough to post at the early hours of the morning.

Can't really do much about photos at the moment. But at least you've seen Eleanor's lovely pictures. That alone should give you an impression of how things were!

I would love to have a go at the Strictly Showtime, but I doubt that if I could afford it. If I did do it, I would probably do a freestyle with Cha Cha, Salsa and Jive, as these are my preferred Latin dances. Salsa is my strongest of the lot and I would love to do something energetic to a really good tune. Can't think of any music tracks right now!

Great reports, guys! Glad you had a great time- it must have been so cool to meet up with one another, and for such a great reason, too! Not at all jealous...

and, yes, the cost is one of the things thats stopping me from saying yes straight away. my mum's like how much is that going to cost me.

LL, As Estilo said he did all the posts last night as we were all pretty bushed and also on such a high.

Very strange combination

The Evening went better than I could ever have imagined and I spent most of it on the dance floor , with Estilo , CP30 , Ryan , and a number of other people as partners.
I did a very nifty Jive with Estilo, and executed a fairly passable Salsa with Ryan.

Karen took great delight in teasing myself and another class member.
At least i now know i'm not her worst pupil ; The other lady is !!!!

To be fair she did say i was showing great improvement in my latin and Ryan confirmed this by saying that I was actually a natural at the Samba and Salsa, asking if I had latin blood.

I will keep this short at the moment as I am semi-comatose

It was so wonderful meeting the others and hopefully something we can repeat.

Just putting a short post on BB and then sleeping .

After a few technical problems I'm back on-line. Feeling very very tired at the moment as I must have had about 6 hours sleep over the past 2 nights!

But what a night last night was. Once again I must thank Inners for inviting me. It all seemed a bit surreal to me, starting with being told by Karen to wait outside whilst she scurried around with lights and table decorations.

I have to say that Karen really is as lovely as she came over on TV and very approachable. I coudn't believe it when she outed me in front of the whole room!! (Can't do smilies atm by I'm saying eek!) But as Estilo said from the crowd reaction I don't think anyone really had a clue what she was talking about. (Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing actually now I think about it!)

She has also told me that I should start taking lessons, which as you know I keep saying I must but I will really have to now! I have to say I found it difficult to pick up the steps very quickly so I'm not sure how I'll get on but I'm determined to give it a go as it is such fun. Think I enjoyed Salsa best. It was so amusing to have Karen shouting at you to do this and that just like she used to with Bill - couldn't help but think about him!

Karen worked hard during most of the evening and due to microphone problems she spent most of it shouting and was nearly losing her voice at the end.

The show dances were superb as well. I can see why Inners likes dancing with Ryan!! (*wink) His and Lynsey's Dirty Dancing routine was just amazing. And I really enjoyed the other couples' waltz. They later joined the group dancing and the girl (Keri I think) was really helpful at trying to show me what to do.

I am now starting to feel quite faint due to lack of sleep and battling with my computer so will have to be off.

Phil , who did the Waltz with Keri is my favourite teacher after Karen though , as he's so patient.

lol i think the only people that understood about the forums were the people that go on the forums...i had to explain to my mum because she was looking blankly at me as i got all excited

i loved it that karen was shouting at us to tell us what to do, makes it all more real...one time when i stopped and got confused she was like "KEEP GOING ELEANOR!" i was pulling a face that went something like but oh well.

I am in the process of organising my videos. I haven't installed my MMS settings properly yet as I never use it so I will have to phone my provider about that tomorrow. After that Eleanor has kindly offered to put them on the computer for me cos she has bluetooth so you all have to wait a little while. Sorry for that. I know how much everyone wants to see them but I am doing my best!

The others are of SCD. I will post the others when I get the green light from the other forumites. I only know Eleanor doesn't mind so I have put some pics of us in the album. I think one of them was taken on her camera but I have put it in my album.
I especially love the one of me and Karen ( not cos of me being on it, but just the fact that I have a pic of us together!!) and have it on my desktop now
On the one with Brendan Karen and Conrad I am looking away as Estilo was also taking that pic and I was looking at his camera while all the others were looking the other way, lol.
