Oh it was ... I had to pinch myself when she said that she wanted me to be her partner for the Waltz game we played. I'm glad that my muscle memory kicked in because I would have forgotten my steps otherwise. I loved performing spin turns with her and she was impressed with how I danced.

Disbelief doesn't even begin to describe it!

Ryan was a really easy-going guy, it's good for you to have danced with him! I'm sure that Karen won't mind taking you for a spin next time! The main thing is that you allow the man's momentum to carry you both around. I think that you will do just fine - you have all the enthusiasm in the world! I'm so glad that you love dance as much as I do.

I'm not Ryan or Karen, but it would be my pleasure to dance with you the next time that I can properly make your acquaintance. Hopefully, both of us will have picked up some great steps to share together!

Karen Rox , i have a terrible problem with spin turns and I even know what i'm doing wrong.

Keri told me that i reach up on them instead of crouching slightly so my centre of gravity is out.

When i was doing the Salsa with Ryan, he did his and then I just stood there .
On the next one he put his finger on the middle of my head and pressed down slightly to guide me.

How embarrassing.

He's lovely though and complimentary of my Latin , so he can do no wrong now

That is also my problem and i've been told that by Andrew , Ryan , Phil and Karen , so it must be true

i just cant do the brush step part on the spin turn, and i generally end up tripping the man up

Here are my pictures from the night itself. Apologies that my camera wasn't that fantastic. The battery ran out quickly, so the flash wouldn't go off. Some pics are really dark and look like I'd hidden the camera in my pocket for an undercover documentary. Other times, I really wanted to take a great snap, but the camera just wouldn't shoot.

I'm afraid you'll just have to take me as I am!
