T Mobile contract - new phone
Hi,
I have a contract with T mobile and need a phone upgrade. Can I buy a T Mobile pay as you go phone and simply put my contract SIM card in it? |

Yeah thats fine
Tmobile dont let you upgrade your phone until you are in the last month of your contract. |

You could always look on eBay for a T-Mobile handset... they tend to not go so high in price if sim-locked, which wouldn't bother you as you're already with T-Mobile.

to be honest, with all the 'cashback' deals at the moment it works out cheaper to get a new phone on contract, and get a brand spanking new phone for free....
which phone did you have in mind? |

Hi, thanks for the replies.
I have a Sony Ericsson T610 but the battery lasts about 10 minutes and the joystick is dodgy. I just want something cheap and chearful to make do, so was thinking of a £25 - £30 payg jobby - not bothered about fancy extras. The ones on eBay, do you think they will be ok, like not old stock with poor batteries? |

You can get a really cheap Sagem or Nokia 1100 for next to nowt in most stores and at least you'd get a warranty with it.
