Oddly enough, a Dave Edmunds song from way back in the day, called "One more night" on the album DE7th. Just his vocal and the piano.
I'm too tired to stand up, I'm too drunk to sleep, Don't know how I'm gonna get home I've said all my goodbyes, I'm trying to keep From spending the evening alone And I miss you at the door when I forget my key I wish you would come back, I'm down on my knees It all seems such a shame, 'cos I still see your light And I wish I could come back and stay one more night |

I guess it depends on the circumstances the song is played in, but I think Bette Midler - You are the Wind Beneath my Wings and Evanescence - My Immortal. I think there are others, but that's what springs to mind right now.
