Heard a song on radio 2 the other day. didnt catch the title or artist.
it went something like

'Come dancing and my sister surely did'.

and 'the day they knocked down the palais, my sister cried'.

It was about an old dance hall that got knocked down and replaced with a car park.

the singing voice was vaguely familiar,,but I cant place it.
it had a wonderfull old style organ riff as the intro as well.
Old song I think but was really really good and I must have it!!

It's 'Come Dancing' by the Kinks, and a very good song it is too.

The Kinks. lol..I should have guessed, I KNEW I had heard that voice before somewhere
