I never watched BB for the same reasons I hate TPT.
Simply put, why turn on the TV to watch Everyday people do everyday things?
I never understood it. I hadn't the patience or interest in those minions to build a following upon.
Now this show, these people all have something to prove to me, namely that they deserve to be celebrities.
Some of them have already passed with flying colours, albeit for the wrong reasons.
TPT sadly, deserves to be a celebrity. She is a case study in how being famous effects a nobody thrown into the starlight/limelight whatever it is. I predict she will be popular for a while until the country realises she is a nothing then discard her (Again).
Uri still needs to prove himself, tonight will be sink or swim for him. If he does the task I will give him the deserved Kudos, even though I detest him.
Darren Day and Nigel, not exactly famous for their intellect continue to prove amusement through their inability to handle criticism/differences of opinion. Typical Celebs.
Christine, and Tony, are shining examples of Moral courage. Telling Nigel Benn to shut up twice in 20seconds is a brave thing, Tony giving Uri grief for dismissing his vegetarian beliefs is also worthy of respect for faith in his beliefs.
And Poor Nell. What can I say? She comes across as sweet as sugar. I think she is looking for a spot on Daytime TV.
All the contestants here rely on their image to keep them famous, which separates them from the BB nothings that invaded our screens for a while then went back in their own box. That is what makes this show better, because their actions now will dictate their celbrity status immensely.
