Exactly. I'm excited and can't wait, but there seems to be a dearth of even thread bare rumours, unless you include the ones about BG's carpet..

DAMN!

He's seen through our cunning plan!

If anyone gets a call from HEAT - take it, and string them out for as much money as possible. We'll all back you up!

Not yet - but I will let you in on a secret - I LOVED that turn of phrase by Nick Briggs and his booger-wooger (sp?) It keeps going round and round in my head...

I think bringing back a few old villans would be better than bringing back a string of past compainions. It worked well with Jamie returning with the 2nd and 6th Drs and I'm so looking forward to SJS coming back.
And to be honset if she didn't return with K9 I'm sure a lot of fans will be asking where is he!!!

I'd like to see Romana II or Victoria return, i thought it was great catching up with her in Downtime, although the Yetis look a bit dated in that!

Romana might have perished on Gallifrey in the last great time war.

Yes, but we saw how easy it was in the last series to just conveniently 'magic' somebody up out of thin air.

Very true and I never really bought into The Doctor being the last of the Time Lords for that reason.

I agree with you BG, this whole time war thing can have so many paradox's, surely time lords could escape the time wars by travelling back in time........

Seeing as Romana's K9 had all the info to build a new Tardis, she could have easily escaped.

It would be intersting to see if the time wars are mentioned again in the new series (soz to go a bit off topic!)

I am only speculating here but perhaps the Face of Boe has something to say on the matter as he has a secret to impart with the wanderer without a home.

Very true.

For that reason, perhaps we will never hear the full details of the time war?

I just don't think we have seen the last of the Time Lords.

Neither do I.

As you mentioned before, it beggars belief that a race as advanced as the timelords wouldn't have some kind of disaster recovery plan in place, should the worst happen.

Quite! And when they realised that all was lost in the time war that some might have fled Gallifrey or as someone else suggested some might have been away elsewhere anyway.

It seems very likely.

We are rumoured to have another timelord in series two.
