Yet clearly a large majority of the camp are scared to stand up to Nigel. Because they are worried that he might "snap." The idea that they are happy with his behaviour is, I think, false.

Anyway, generally speaking, outside of the ring boxers (apart from nutcase tyson) are far less violent than your average "celeb". The Gallagers, Bjork, Tommy Lee, pretty much ayone else, all smack people upside the head when they want to but you rarely if ever hear of this from boxers. Honestly I think Nigel will always be the last to hit back out of that lot.

I wasn't inferring that they thought that Nigel would hit them - I think that last night, when Rhona had scuttled off, the discussion they had showed that they (Uri, Tony etc.) thought Nigel would go ballistic verbally. Tony certainly seemed to consider that a possibility, and I for one wouldn't blame him in not wanting to get involved.

Why does that follow? I rather have a barney with a bloke any day than with a woman. Argue with a woman and you're on a loser from the off. (No offence Girls, just my personal experience. )

sorry..total tosh. the stark fact is that even in this day and age a sizable proportion of women suffer violence at the hands of their partners, and are subjected to harrasment at work.

I quite agree that any unwarranted violence is a "very bad thing(tm)", but that doesn't take anything from the fact that a percentage of women claim to be fighting for "equal rights", while are actually worse sexist themselves! (Note: I in no way mean all, or most women by this)

Yeah, but you wouldn't be best pleased if you found out someone had been calling you a sinner behind your back! Nigel told Christine this - while he should just have kept his thoughts to himself.

If Nigel really is the big man I thought he was when he went into the show (and yes, I really liked him, and was looking forward to him being in the programme) he should rise above it all like a true Christian, and stop shouting and bitching. The whole squabble is sleazy, and one of them should take the initiative to be the better person in all of this.

I'd have been bloomin fuming! BUT, I'll be absolutely honest and say that I'd have asked Nigel if he'd 'come out' of the group and have a chat with me. I'd have asked him if what I had heard about him calling me a sinner was true and why he said it. If he gave me the bible bit I'd have shown his beliefs up for what christianity is supposed to stand for, told him that I was upset by what he'd said, and that others would also judge him for his prejudice opinions. If he was a colleague I'd have told him that if anything like that came back to me again that I'd report him to my employer for harrassment. I think that would have been enough to make him keck his pants... and on national tv, who'd have looked the fair and decent party in that scenario?

I believe you'll find that Rhona remained seated during the row. Big world boxing champion Nigel approached her and began repeatedly jabbing his finger in her face. Rhona requested, quite correctly in situations of possible assault, for him to leave her personal area. Nigel was the aggressor here......And if Nigel can't take a few verbal comments with all his mates around him (When Rhona seems to have none) then poor 'ibble baby is all I can say....

I believe you'll find that Nigel was seated on the ground, and tried to stop the argument starting, by saying "leave it," or something similar, and Rhona, after intense concentration, with the camera on her face, for a number of seconds, decided not to leave it, and carried on laying into him.

And I believe you'll find that Nigel said "If you were a man ..." As Rhona is clearly not a man, he was stating that he wasn't going to punch her.

Rhona was very clearly the agressor in that argument, and the way she, and you, have turned it around to make it out that she is the victim, is unbelievable.

No the aggresor stood up and started poking his finger in her face and got his mate to join in. Rhona is the victim not the world boxing champion......

In this PC world you are clearly correct. Rhona is the victim just like that burglar who is suing for unlawful detention having been caught and detained by a bloke who found him burgling his house.

No, of course not. I'm not saying that Rhona is totally innocent in all this. I know she's gobby and living with her 24/7 could be a bit of a nightmare but in my opinion, Benn's behaviour, and that of his lackey prick, was totally unacceptable.

Rhona is the victim because a world boxing champion and his lackey threatened to hit her - Real or implied the threat was there - The crime of assault does not need any physical attack to occur, merely the threat of it will do. Rhona was to scared to return to camp - So his threat worked.

Further, Nigel was at down, not poking his finger into her face, nor darren. What a load of invention. Darren couldn't keep quiet on this issue... he has been at boiling point with Rhoda for days.

Nigel wanted the argument to stop and said he didn't want to talk to her any more after she insulted his christian beliefs and the bible. Rhona ALSO said that if she was a man she's like to 'go a round' with him. Remember that? In your book she therefore implied that she wanted to reciprocate by physically attacking him... she said that she would have enjoyed that. Therefore she was according to your rules as bad as him, except remember she actually started this fight, remember?

Most of us here are not sticking up for what Nigel and Darren are or did, but we are getting the facts straight, and putting the matter into a proper perspective which you are NOT because you have reinforced this idea in your head that Rhona is the victim who was attacked by Nigel for no reason and that she had to cower in fear of him, and fled the camp fearing a physical assault whilst she slept. Not true. Get real.

As I recall he waved his finger in her face and she said - "Get out of my space" - I can't believe I have to justify this

He started off sitting down but he did actually end up in her face. She asked him to get out of her space.

Anyway, it's repeated again tonight, 8pm ITV2. Be interesting to see that part again.
