I think they insult each other. I think they have one of the worst personality clashes ever, and fair play to the producers, as this is what they must have wanted in inviting them both to participate. They've tried to do the homo/homophobe thing on BB a few times, but the ordinary contestants have usually been too savvy to fall for it.

I would like to know whether Nigel and Christine actually did have a conversation about his brand of Christianity, or if she was doing some freehand interpretation - although his subsequent comments in the woods seem to back up Christine's comments, it would help to understand whether Christine was stirring or not...

absolutely true... she attacked him aggressively and openly with no provocation from Nigel... he was hit by a bombshell. What a lot of people seem to have forgotten is that whilst everyone is supportive of her homophobia remarks, what about her remarks attacking his beliefs and the bible? I'm NOT religious, but I do not go poking fun or making nasty remarks about other peoples faiths. Nigel had NOT gone round the camp spouting Christianity or homophobic statements. Rhona on this occasion was totally out of order.... and I'm sorry but if YOU are surprise attacked by someone you will either run away or defend yourself, and Nigel is not the sort of bloke to run... she put him on the defence and that is what he did. What he also said was that if she was a man he would have thumped her for what she'd said. He did not threaten, therefore, to thump her. IF she had been a man I would not entirely have been surprised if she'd have been thumped.

Try walking into a pub and start slinging insults at some big burly bloke at the bar out of the blue, and if you are a man, see if you don't get grounded pretty quickly. I believe that 99% of the world's problems could be avoided if people just said what they bloody well meant. Rhona obviously subscribes to that philosophy aswell and, since noone else does, she's just landed herself in hot water.
I agree there is no need for voices to be raised but, in some cases, that's the only way you can get through to people.
And since I'm a "wee lady" (although not an old one) myself, my comment was not sexist.

a) Be rather lonely

b) Be somewhat arrogant in our assumption we were right.

c) Have to spend all our waking hours being VERY careful we practiced what we preached.

d) Spend many more hours listening to others telling us our own faults.

yup... it's called diplomacy, and the pople we actually admire the most have been those who told us the truth as they see it, not shouted it and rammed it down everyones throat. Eg Nelson Mandela, Ghandi, Martin Luther King. These rare people got us all on side by their peaceful approach, not their aggressive approach, to their cause. We are all guilty of being a bit like Rhona and Nigel and Darren, but wishes we could all be more like the others when we have something to say about something we feel strongly about... we'd all get a lot more respect and probably win our arguments a lot more often!

Not at all. Rhona is the definition of a modern day bully. She is deeply insecure in herself, and seeks to control others by spotting their weaknesses and manipulating that to the maximum. She uses the feminist equivalent the "race" card everytime she opens her mouth, even though deep down she knows that any problems have with her have nothing to do with that.

In terms of aggression, Rhona was the first to show, actually saying to Darren Day, that she wishes it was like the old days, where you could settle things with and old fashioned fist fight, and she could take him. Come on be real guys, she's a coward with issues, and she deeply fears the publics possible dislike for based on her alone, so is trying to get likes of Darren & Nigel to slip up and say something homophobic, or deeply sexist to prove her imaginary point.

If Nigel made every issue about him being black when it cleary wasn't, we would be all over him like a rash, why are we letting Rhona cash in on being gay, when in that jungle she is receiving no adverse treatment because of it?

No come on, Rohna was using just as much violent talk as Nigel. I believe the worst Nigel said to her was IF you she was a bloke he would floor have floored him in the ring which was said after Rohna said she would love to fight him. Hmmm hardly the insanely violent man you talk of....

So if a person happens to be gay, it gives them the right to behave how they like, because we all know they face hardship does it? I dont think you really believe that, just as Nigel doesn't have the right to behave however he wants because he's black. Unfortunately the comments that Christine says Nigel made are the ill-advised views of his church, and sadly as such are probably the "official" views of most of the church going public in this country.

What matters is how he had been to her, and I don't think he at all demonstrated any adverse opinion of her, or behaviour toward her that can be attributed to her being gay at all. He was loud As I said earlier, Tara's lifestyle is far from biblical, and Benn doesn't not treat her differently because of it at all. And Rhona only knows the brief translation of what Nigel said from Christine, she hasn't asking him about it at all, and just called him homophobic, because it will carry a lot of shock value with the viewing public, and there are people who will react and side with her, without knowing what his own personal view on the matter is. OJ Simpson did it with the black public, and Rhona is doing it with the gay public, only thankfully she hasn't killed anyone, well not yet anyway.

Don't rally behind her, she is self-serving, and detracts away from those who really do face anger because of their sexual orientation.

THey're both bullies. If Nigel is bullying in the way boys do to boys, Rhona is bullying in the way girls do to girls.

Loud conversations about people just when they can hear it, prodding and pushing until you get a reaction, playing hurt and blaming it all on the other person to get the sympathy of the audience - these are the classic tactics that girl bullies use on other girls.

Neither of these people are redeemable. I am stressing Rhona's part simply because a lot of people don't actually seem to have recognized Rhona's bullying for what it is.

I didn't realise he has been in drug rehab. I'm wondering now whether it was fair to have him on this programme only a year later Even though I dislike him and his manner and have gained tremendous joy out of him doing the trial agian - wondered if it was fair.

well, it was fair in as much as the rules allowed him to be voted to do a task twice. But I was a tad bothered by the fact that he took the first vote so personally. Now this is a double whammy. For a guy who is presumably very very insecure, this will knock the stuffing out of his self esteem won't it? I honestly don't like the man but I wouldn't go so far as I'd want to see him personally hurt too much by this expereince... it's meant to be a show and for charity for gawds sake... we didn't expect the celebs to get crucified in the name of entertainment

I'd have to say, at a guess, that there's not one of them glad that they agreed, and they're all regretting doing it.

And I think a select few of them really need to remember that this is supposed to be about the charities.
