I'm not convinced she's doing it for charity, look at celeb big brother, everyone ultimately does it because they want to influence the public's perception of them, whether to further their careers, or just to redeem faux pas of the past, that's not a bad thing, they just need be honest about.

Actually I have heard of her once before, quite a few years ago when she was doing some sort of presenting job, and Patrick Swayze was in London doing some sort of book signing or press conference, and she went in, made some out of order comment which actually was a bit arse-licky to him, puffing up celebs, but put down his audience, like they were plebs, and he stopped what he was doing, and told her quite sincerely that these are the people put him where he is, and that celebs should never be dismissive of that. She totally embarrassed herself, but instead of admitting she was out of order, she went further and just siad "hah hah,good comment!" boy she's got an ego!!!

Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that he behaves like a spoilt 5 year old trapped in the body of a man.

I don't think she had a problem with him, she was actually really complimenting at the expense of his audience, by inferring that this was a tedious process for celebs like him and her.

Whatever it was it was I throw away comment, which she probably din't think about too much before saying it, but what was interesting was how she acted when someone quite clearly pointed out that she was wrong , and knocked her of her moral high ground, she didnee like it!!!

May be it's "Rhona who?" as far as you're concerned but she has a huge following here in Scotland (and not just amongst the gay community) and she did get her own sitcom on the BBC. You don't get given your own show for being a nobody.

And Ryan - don't say "didnee". That's a Glasgow pronounciation and Rhona happens to be from Dundee. And anyhow, it's spelt "didnae"!

I didn't know she had a big following in Scotland, that explains a lot in terms of the postings I've seen here. Come on, admit it, I've got Scottish ancestory too, so nationalistic pride aside, whether Nigel said what he's supposed to have said or not, she would have found some reason to have picked a fight with Mother Tereasa, if she had been there, and realising she'd been a bit out of order, she would have found something to rile the public up against ole' Mother T, thus actually bypassing the fact that it was Rhona that started throwing punches.

I just don't care enough to bother with it, but yes, when he went in to the 'swamp' (ha!) for his task, the first sentence he came out with, in a raised voice, was with a northern accent, which
region I don't know, and probably neither did he.

No he didn't threaten her or anyone.

Rhona started the violent talk by saying that if she were a man, she'd love to have a fist fight with Nigel.
Nigel simply responded to Rhona, saying that if she were a man, he'd knock her/him clean out.

So from this, Rhona threatened Nigel in a hypothetical kind of way.
And Nigel expained to Rhona what the inevitable consequences of her actions would be(getting in a fist fight with Nigel)............................in a hypothetical kind of way.

From what I've seen, Nigel is keeping well out of Rhona's way, so he's hardly bullying her.

Yeah, he's only now keeping out of her way after he feels like he's successfully intimidated her enough. From the looks of things it seems like he's chosen Christine as his next object of ridicule.

Trust me, that's how these bullies operate - they beat one person down until they no longer see them as competition then they move onto the next person.

When Darren was doing Summer Holiday he played Cliff hence the cliff voice. Darren's accent is an Essex one.

For those of you who don't know much about Darren and all the talk about his accent/accents he used to do the voices of the spitting image puppets, and slips in and out of different voices all the time. I don't think a lot of the time he knows he is doing it.

Essex must have a posher accent though. That accent he's using now is that media friendly "mockney" accent that a lot of telly people are doing nowadays.
