No one will stand up to him. They'll all stand up to Rhona and shout and scream at her but they won't stand up to him. That makes him the group bully........

Icouldn't stand him from day one when he was going on about the rest of the group mustn't expect him to do all the heavy work just cos he's sooo strong and capable not like those wimpy little celebs..He certainly doesn't contribute in any other way either.Rotten cook, rotten speaker,no new ideas, no diplomacy,no kindness.A very basic s***t stirrer and cowardly bully.My dad was a boxer and not particularly articulate but he would never threaten to punch anyone, male or female,just because he disagreed with them.He kept the violence in the ring.

What is it about ex-boxers that makes them behave like *****/ go on reality tv type shows/ have a lisp? He has put himself in a really bad light in this show.

His excuse is that he's had blow after blow to the head scrambling his brains and comes from a naturally loud background/family.

Darren's excuse - he's trying to look tough (and failing miserable IMO).
Rhona's excuse - she's a wee bit temperamental and extremely intelligent and that, coupled with the fact that she's stuck in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of halfwits, is making her act a bit crazy.

I don't see why everyone overextimates her intelligence, not being big headed, but I've zero doubt that I'm far more intelligent than her. People tend to equate the person who argues the most as the most intelligent.

And as for being stuck out there with a bunch of halfwits? They all have that too.
And come on, look at the title of the programme - it pretty much says it all. If any other name screams "big load of halfwits stuck out in nowhere together", I've never seen it

But it's the nature of the business she's in. To be a decent stand-up comic you have to sharp-witted, smart and quick-thinking. How much intelligence do you need to sing some crap show tunes or don a pair of boxing gloves and beat the shit out of someone?

Neither is Rhona in her current situation because of Nigel. She has also, from the start, been very bossy and as she likes to put it 'articulate' about most things. She is always turning an argument around to make it look as if it is she who is being attacked unfairly, after all she is only saying this, or doing that... the fact it annoys, offends or upsets seems hardly the point to her way of thinking - poor Rhona. We have all met ppl like Rhona, and best to let them go their way and steer clear.

Put the two together and you get a spectacular fireworks display which I doubt even the producers could have anticipated... lucky them!

Why is it that these "evos" type of Christian are always the least tolerant of people? He's a revolting Neanderthal who can barely string more than two words together without grunting...and he is threatening people with smashing their faces in if they don't agree with him...very Christian I must say. Benn has mixed in violent circles for most of his adult life. His former minder was Tony Tucker, one of the guys who was executed in the Range Rover murders in Essex, 1995. His former manager/promoter has been detained at her majesty's pleasure on a couple of occasions. The very nature of his sport and the kind of characters it can attract goes some way to explaining why he's so aggressive and threatening.

Day on the other hand, well, I just don't understand this goon. A z-list celeb, singer of show choons and serial shagger of soap stars and minor actressess has suddenly morphed into this 'kid of the street', this tough talking 'yeah, if you were a bloke, I woulda knocked you spark out too' kind of guy. Presumably, he's trying to dispel his clean cut image by acting tough and sucking up to Benn. It's not working.

Get rid of them both I say.

yes..I agree with the majority f posts in this thread. Nigel Benn should go first. a boxer threatening violence to someone who clearly cannot defend themselevs against him physically, is just unforgivable.

No I don't think so either... you see a man would not have approached Benn in that totally in yer face manner unless he was looking for a punch. Rhona has probably gotten away with saying a lot of things in that manner because she is a woman, which a man would not attempt with another man unless he was a bully and looking to pick a fight. Neither do I think it's ever OK for a man to use fisty cuffs... but this is Nigel's problem - because he is thick as shit, and he is a boxer, he can safely resort to threats of violence, but I wonder how many men he has actually thumped outside of the ring? Maybe he just doesn't get the sorts of insults hurled at him by men so directly as Rhona did... after all he is a champion boxer so who'd pick a fight with Benn except Rhona and his wife?!!!

That must be one of the cruxes of the matter - that people have always deferred to Nigel, thus allowing him to cultivate his spoilt persona. Maybe that's true of Rhona as well, heheh!!

I don't know how Nigel dares to call himself a Christian. It beggars belief. Its not my intention to draw people into a philosophical debate, but the condemnation of homosexuality in the old testament is in the same section which offers an equally significant portion of text to the condemnation of shell fish eaters!! Furthermore, scholars would argue the salient point that homosexuality is not among the 10 cardinal sins.

Nigel is simply using his religion as an excuse for his homophobia and it's disgusting. If Nigel is so into his religion and happy to take everything so literally, perhaps he should give up his home and car and walk around on the streets preaching the word of God as opposed to hypocritically denouncing other people as sinners. Does Nigel achieve his love for his fellow man by beating people to bloody pulps in the ring every couple of months?

It makes me sick to see this behaviour on television. I feel disgusted as a Christian myself to think I may be branded alongside this thug.
