Someone stirring quote?
Hil
01-09-2002
Last night during the live section when Ant & Dec tell them the next victim of the challenge I'm sure I heard Nigel say someone had been stirring things and he was going to have a word with them. maybe he meant Christine?.

Unfortunately, as it was live A & Dec cut him off from saying any more. I'd love to see this exchange.

Did anyone else hear this?

Yeah he did look at Christine and speak to her whilst Ant & Dec were wrapping up the show, also he made a stirring gesture whilst looking at her - shame this wasn't one of the nights when coverage continued on ITV2!
If this erupted into another row, what's the betting that Nigel will be voted for tonight?

That's odd cos I thought he was looking at Rhona when he said that.
I don't know what all the fuss is about. Christine has really only "stirred up" trouble on 2 occasions and I don't think she did it intentionally.

No - He was looking at Christine - Who's stirring has caused major trouble. Rhona's trouble stems from Nigel and Darren flying off the handle whenever she speaks, not stirring

SHE did it intentionally. The papers have mentioned this before. It is partly her fault(she admitted this) that they lost all their money.

Nigal did look at Christine when he said someone was stirring things up. I hope she has a strong chin, because he will take all the grieve he feels he is suffering out on her now.

Indeed we did and at the time he was looking directly across at the bench/log occupied by Christine and Nell.

So unless Nell has broken her vow of silence watch out Christine.

I could be wrong but it seems to me that Christine is the only one who has raised the issue of homophobia with Rhona. Whatever Nigel's beliefs I havent seen him ram them down the throat of anyone much less Rhona.

Setting aside the fact that Rhona's sexuality is neither here nor there its pretty flipping obvious that she is not the most pleasant person to be around. Thats why Nigel cant stand her and Christine was quite wrong to suggest that Nigel's dislike of her arose from homophobia linked to his religious beliefs.

She went on to compound this when confronted by denying that she had named names.

If that aint the old divide and rule in operation then my name is Neil Hamilton!

Watch out for the sparks to fly on tonights footage.

Ever Yours

I thought Nigel looked pretty damned scary when he said he still had issues because someone had been stirring....and let's face it, Christine was stirring: the whole Rhona-storming out-of-the-camp row was started by Christine telling Rhona the Nigel/bible/homophobia thing, leading to Rhona calling him a homophobic f*cking ****er and the subsequent melee. That was so not the way to calm Rhona down - it was like pouring paraffin on an open fire.

Oooh, tonight should be good.

Will Nigel be able to address his issues with Christine in a calm, thoughtful and civilised manner? Will Rhona be lying there in her bunk laughing her socks off? Will Christine spontaneously combust?

No, Yes ,Yes is my prediction

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the camp:

Tony will keep following Rhona round with his tongue hanging out, begging her to tickle his tummy again (that was a very disturbing sight);

Rhona will oblige because no one else in the camp is now willing to get within spitting distance of her, let alone tickling;

Uri will be banished to the telegraph hut for the night after a groping incident with

Tara , after she appears wearing a complete bunny-girl outfit she made from palm leaves to cheer up

Darren , who , in the advanced stages of paranoia after being voted twice running for the task, will decide he might as well be hung for a sex-crazed Meerkat as a mere love-rat, and snog Tara , see above.

Meanwhile Nell, evil genius of the jungle , will maintain her dignified silence, showing us only her enigmatic smile....

Beware, Junglemates - when you're not looking, Nell the Silent One will be coming to get you.

And at midnight in the jungle, no one can hear you scream...

During the same programme did Tara, while talking to Christine, call Dodi Fayed foul? Or am I hearing things? She was whispering but I`m sure I heard her say she knew Dodi well and she wasn`t complimentary.

Bless you Cybele - That's exactly how it happened.
Looking forward to fireworks tonight....although I think Christine will just say sorry and that will be the end of the matter.........

Yes, I thought the Dodi Fayed thing was interesting. I got the impression that Tara was inferring that his romance with Diana was less serious than all the hype indicated, because he wasn't that appealing. I wish I had heard more.

Cybele, you are quite mad! That is hilarious, and probably scarily accurate!
