every night so far,ant and dec have had no footage or comments of nell. In fact the only footage we see of her is in the morning with the live link. Yet, they seem to bring her to our attention ,encouraging votes by saying how good she looks in the morning, in the rain, during the rows...etc etc...
not sure if i am being suspicious unduly but, as nell is somehow the fave to win (goodness knows how ) , itv are trying to raise her profile with us.

I think Ant & Dec are just trying to remind the veiwers that Nell is actually there. Either that or they just fancy her!
I kinda feel sorry of the girl cos she obviously feels out of her depth amongst that lot.

I think from what we've seen of Nell, she has seemed really nice but she's just shy. Tony Blackburn has only spoke slightly more than Nell + has not come across very well.

It really wouldn't surprise me. She could be the most stupid, inane person on the planet but the lack of footage would hide it from us.

I honestly can't see any of the guys having a chance.
Darren and Nigel won't win after their behaviour.
Uri is too controversial - everyone would say he decided the result himself.
It couldn't be Tony - he seems to be stuck somewhere between reality, outer space and the 60's.
Rhona could still be a possibility as she could be seen as 'battling' her way to the finish but she'd have to turn things around.
Tara ... possibly, she is doing well but perhaps still too dippy.
Christine's favour changes daily , I believe they're editing quite a bit. No way is she this low-key.

Ant and Dec were having a little interlude joke in which they said that they had footage of Nell speaking, and showed it! I think she has a communication problem. I can't think why she took on this 'challenge'. I bet she's really nice tho'

Why do you think Tony hasn't come over very well? Apart from his ".......I'll have no respect for you" speech to Uri before his trial I think he's doing ok so far.

I had to look away last night when he was pretending to be a doggy so that Rhona could stroke his tummy

He's also fixated on the bucket and making jokes about it.

I think Tony has come across very well indeed, he has kept himself to himself because he doesn't see the point in all this petty squabbling in front of the cameras. He has probably learnt some very valuable lessons from his own experiences back in the 70s when his first marriage broke down. He now knows that it is best to keep your private life private.
Having said that, I agree that it wouldn't be much of a show if all eight of them were like Tony!!

At the moment I'd back Nell because she hasn't shown any of the dreadful characteristics the others a displaying (even Tony is coming across as limp and ineffectual when, as the silver back, he should be leading). Nigel, Darren, Rhona, Tony, Uri, Christine and Tara have all done something to merit a vote off.......

She would have a hard time showing any negative parts of her personality, since so far, she appears to be devoid of one!

Ho Ho! Catty but true But it's the nature of the game for the unpopular to be ousted - She struggles to be unpopular because she struggles to be anything at all........

I know, it's cruel really: I think Nell is just a perfectly nice, normal girl, who by some strange quirk of fate has found herself trapped with a load of raving lunatics...

She's still really dull, though!

Don't forget that the celbs aren't voted off, per se, because we are voting for the winner... the one with the least winning votes will be ejected and so on.


Therefore, its not so much the fact that one of the JMs has done something to get people's back's up, its more a case of doing something which *some* voters will like.

Even the odious types like Rhona and Uri will have their supporters - not many, but I'm sure they do exist (they just use bits of crayon to write with ).

The ones who could suffer with this voting system are the quiet ones - why would anyone vote for Nell, they don't even register her presence... Unless she gets her t*ts out on tonight's show, I think she's actually going to go farily early.

I suspect that either Tara or Christine will actually win.

Imagine you're the director, and you have the choice between filling your show with major fallouts and/or general wierdness from the loud celebs, or Nell being quiet and sensible - come on, it's no choice at all!

But does Nell deserve to win? IMO she doesn't, the others love them or hate them have at least entertained us.

As Markie just pointed out, people are going to vote for the one(s) they like - who have actually made an impact. Tara and Christine are the only two who fall into that category I believe. The remainder have either put too many people off or like Nell (and possibly Tony) havn't registered enough to cause any interest.
