Homechoice + LCD TVs - known issues?

I have had Homechoice for two months: very happy with the broadband; not thrilled with picture quality compared to satellite, but better than our terrestrial reception.

I am thinking of getting an LCD TV to replace an enormous CRT model. Has anyone had problems with their picture quality using Homechoice and an LCD TV?

All comments appreciated, I don't want to waste my money...

I have a Sony 32" LCD TV. Picture looks pretty good on it. The newer on-demand movies look much better now. I wonder if they are starting to show them in MPEG4.

I'm using a Panasonic 32" LCD. Very good picture.

How have you guys connected your TVs to the Homechoice box? I have just purchased a Philips LCD tv and the picture looks shocking via a SCART cable...

Make sure your using an RGB scart lead(also make sure your stb is set to output rgb),not the cheap rubbish that allways seems to come with new kit,but a decent gold plated one.
Shouldn't cost much more than about 20 quid although you could easily spend more.
