Celebrities Ratings after week 1
Miles_T
01-09-2002
After quite an interesting week here are my ratings of the 'celebs'

Please add your own if you so wish....

Darren:

Had no idea of who he was b4 so no real expectations. Thought he was okay for a few days and then he started to really grate... The 'from the street' bullshit, the childish behaviour in the arguments and the I love myself manner - Utter **** can't stand him.

Rhona:

was expecting to like her..sorely dissapointed, miserable and moaning most of the time. Is a bully in her own right (the way she pushed around Tony b on the first find the chest thingy) I think she has a lot of problems under the surface and she is using this as an opportunity to have arguments.

Nigel:

As I expected, untollerant and a bit of a bully. Wants things his own way. He has backed off over last couple of days though so some Improvement. Full respect for the challenge as well, getting bit and carrying on.

Uri:

Expected him to be off the wall and he is!! I actually find him entertaining and he has showed some good sides and has a bit of fun. Okay I know a lot of people hate him and think he's a perv but all in all he is doing a lot better than most. Full respect for his challenge as well.

Christine:

Was expecting her to break down as per Milloinairre show (I still think she might)
was a star for a few days but has shown herslf to be two faced and a stirrer have no respect for her now. You've blown it Christine

Tara:

Expected her to be an absolute nightmare but she has been mostly okay and very funny at times (mostly unintentionally). I really liked her poem as well. She needs to break away from that **** Darren though.

Nell:

Never heard of her before didn't know anything about her, still don't. Imput requied Nell! I think she is overawed with all the extroverts there she might liven up once there have been a few evictions.

Tony B:

Expected him to really get on my nerves but he hasn't at all. Very balanced, stands up for himself when he has to, has a laugh and gets stuck in. He is a bit woosy at times but I can forgive that. would love to see him win

Only my opinions of course feel free to agree or disagree....

Tony has got on my nerves. It was really unfair of him to have a go at Uri for eating those bugs. While having a go at Uri he still ate the food that he had got through eating the bugs. He is past it and trying to find more bucket jokes- come on!

ok then,i have warmed to tara, didnt ever think i would, but she is quite a laugh and does involve herself a lot. as for mockney darren day, well, originally,a useless, fairly accentless presenter of schmucky t.v.shows,what is his problem...fake accent, constant love me attitude, moaning and doing taras head in.a sulky little boy.tony blackburn to win though, because i used to like arnold his dog on his radio show,circa1970s.see ya.

My Ratings of the Celebrities after the first week are:

Christine: I have liked Christine, she's a good calm person to have their, keep them all in shape but her stirring was a little sneaky, but it made good TV so fair play to her.

Christines Rating - 3rd - 8/10

Darren : Darren is quite funny, and I think he's very entertaining with his childishness. I think he does deserve doing two Bush Tukka's though because yesterday he went too far but he did sort it out with Tara in the end so all in all he's allright.

Darrens Rating - 2nd - 9/10

Nell: Nell is a very very quiet girl. But she seems on the ground enough. It'd be nice to hear from her more often but when we do she's never being nasty to anyone so I reckon she's a nice enough girl.

Nells Rating - 4th - 7/10

Nigel: I don't like Nigel at all. His voice grates on me and I think he's a prick.

Nigels Rating - 7th - 1/10

Rhona: Rhona is an absolute B***h but is very entertaining so not my worst. I think the person who touched her down the hole was a bit unfair but she is a very bossy person. Far from my favourite.

Rhonas Rating - 6th - 3/10

Tara: Tara is great! she's funny, she's hillarious! she's fun and very vulnerable. My favourite celebrity by far! GO TARA!

Taras Rating - 1st - 10/10

Tony: What an annoying person! so very cheesy but I haven't seen enough of him to dislike him alot so I'll give him a reasonable rating.

Tonys Rating - 5th - 7/10

Uri: My worst celebrity. What a pervy weirdo! What more can I say?!

Uris Rating - 8th - 0/10

Mostly agree with Miles comments, apart from Uri which I strongly disagree.

A vegetarian that chooses to kill all the living creatures in a game is a hypocrite, and as such does NOT deserve respect for it.

I didn't understand what his bloody problem was. They were only bugs and grubs - it wasn't like he was asked to shoot a rabbit or something!

On the whole that's my assessent too, but for Christine. I think they find her, and I think she is, the spine behind this group. The only bits we have recently seen are the Rhona and Tara bits. She did not calculate that Rhona was sooo volatile and indiscrete - I think she was only trying to offer her a true explantion of why Nigel resented her. In the Tara and Darren thing, what she said didn't do any harm and it was 100% true. She was actually sticking up for Tara saying look she is trying but it's Darren who's laying a guilt trip on her. With better and fairer editing she will, I'm sure, come across as quite a cheeky but nice lady. I didn't like her before either, but I think the lady is OK, and I also admire her for volunteering for this at her age, and she hasn't been a moaner.

I don't like Uri - but he was sacrificing his principles for the sake of his fellow contestants - which I think is acceptable - also there are many reasons why people are vegetarian

You think so, eh?

I'll tell you what your ratings are. They're........ reasonable and well thought out Pretty close to mine. The only thing I'd change is the positions of Uri and Rhona.

I wasn't quite clear on the rules. Could he have just eaten the non-animal and dead meals? That would have given the group about 5 portions and might have been a better compromise.

Still, having voted for the poor old git to have to eat the damn things, I for one am hardly in a position to criticise!

Rhona: Her moaning in the first week nearly drove me to distraction and the way she thinks she's intellectually superior to anyone else is very annoying too. Not my kind of person at all, but she made me chuckle tonight.

Nell: I'd give her one Nothing much to say really.

Uri: A very pervy/slimey character! I couldn't stop laughing last week when he asked Tony if he had had an erection whilst being on camp LOL! the rest of the groups faces was classic And tonight! wanting to bury Tara's underwear He's also comes across as the phony he truely is with all his PMA nonsense! VERY entertaing to watch, however.

Tara: My personal fave, there's just something about her, i think deep down she's a really nice person who's very misunderstood. But her childishness gets on me nervs though. Oh yeah, I'd give her on too

Christine: Ok until she started stirring! But not the monster she's made out to be.

Tony: He's ok, loves himself a bit to much though if you ask me.

Nigel: Very over-powering! You can see how it's irrataing to the rest of them. But an ok bloke deep down.

Darren: Starting to wind me up more and more, day by day. It was downhill from the "i'm a man from the streets" comment and like Rhona said he acts like a big spoiled kid.

Your analysis of them is very similar to how I think about them.

Most liked:
(In order of preference)

1) Nell Mcandrew
2)Tara Palmer Tompkinson
3)Tony Blackburn
4)Christine Hamilton

Disliked:
(In order of most disliked first)

1)Nigel Benn
2)Uri Geller
3)Rhona Cameron
4)Darren Day

Doesn't actually reflect who I want off first though, as some of them have been entertaining in certain ways.

Tara. amusing and I like her

Darren Thinks that he's Ken Barlow when he says, " I'm from the street.

Tony. I find him very nice and hope he wins

Nigel. I don't think that he takes himself as seriously as he pretends to do so. Don't wind him up though.

Rhona. Contoversial but entertaining.

Christine. Not really a stirrer but a bit naive.

Nell Nice but does not do enough to deserve to win

Uri See note for Rhona but I obsolutely definitely guarantee that he will be first to go ( I have not yet seen Mondays show....honest )
