Most people on this forum seemed to think that they could vote people out - now it is clear that people are voting to keep people IN. Is this a ploy to save the face of the celeb going - the argument being: 'I'm not going because the GBP hate me - they must feel that I deserve to go back to the luxury of a hotel etc....

Also a ploy to encourage more calls - you may only want 1 person to go, but may vote for 3 or 4 to stay.

SO... who deserves to stay? Even though I don't necessarily LIKE all of them, people such as Uri, Darren, Rhona, Tara and Christine have at least contributed to the entertainment. Nell, however.......

I think I'll not bother to vote and give my money directly to a charity that doesn't keep £1 out of every £2.5 donated.

I think it's entirely ITV trying to make money. Let's face it, after perhaps the first one or two people, most people will be rooting for people to WIN rather than LOSE. This obviously encourages multiple calls from each person. Sly buggers.

Also gives the "celebs" a warm cozy feeling, since rather than being voted out, they instead failed to be voted in. Apathy is normally far preferable than hatred, no?

yes I agree, when I heard about the 'very original' voting system, I raised a cynical eyebrow.

We accept a vote for the one you dislike, when we can get peeps to vote for all they like just to remove the one they dislike... oh well its all in the name of charity!

It's not as good fun this way of voting. I won't be bothering voting until nearer the end of the week. I don't know if others will feel like me - thereby reducing phone votes overall.

I agree that this voting system is just to get more money out of us.
So I won't be voting for anyone either.
I'm just enjoying it for it's entertainment and to tell the truth as long as its not Rhona nor Nigel I dont really mind who wins
Whoever wins a charity will benefit, its not like it's going in their own pockets !

I'm not voting myself - I can think of ways to give to charity that won't benefit ITV...

That said, I think it'll be a shame if Nell wins. She seems like a lovely girl, but hasn't provided one moment of entertainment, either.

It doesn't matter who wins. They shouldn't be there to boost their careers - It's a charity show.........God luck to all the charities involved...
