Hi everyone,
Does anyone know when Hayley in Corrie will return? She went to look after her sick uncle weeks ago. Will she be back for Mike's funeral?

She'll be back when Julie's had her holiday probably. They usually give them a month off at a time so they can disappear for up to 8 weeks from the screen.

Why if they only have a month off do they disappear for eight weeks?

Because I imagine that it takes one month to record eight weeks of episodes. I'm guessing, but that seems the logical anwer.

Probably due to filming schedule i reckon. Soap stars get a ridiculous amount of time off, especially in Corrie where theres a huge cast.

I miss her presence, Roy is simply boring without her.

I think that the stuff with "Clifford" could have been good, if Clifford developed some sort of obsession with Hayley. It would be great to see her handle having a stalker...and I think that he has the possibility to be really creepy!

I hope she's back for the funeral!!

As much as I hate the character and storyline, I am very surprised we have not seen Clifford since Hayleys departure. I thought that was the whole point of her leaving.

Me too.

I would love to see the Croppers involved with a character completely unconnected with the Street.

Their biggest storyline of late was involving "Patience" and the Barlows.

I think Hayley having a "stalker" could be very interesting.

Bit off topic, but I love Julie's hair in real life.

Now, back on topic, I think Hayley needs to hurry back as she's one of my favourite characters on the show.

One of my favourite Hayley lines:

(Sean jumps out with underpants over his jeans)

Hayley: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No....it's Sean the superhero!... (Silence)

Fizz: Yes Hayley...
