Confused - I miss Nigel

I am now totally confused - what is going on - everyone is changing their character. You don't get this on BB do you?

Tara - I liked - how now turned into the biggest drama queen going

Daren - I liked - now sucking up to the other group and being nasty about Nigel

Tony, Christine (both of whom I liked) and even Nell having a great big bitch - don't like that group bitch mentality

Rhona - who I didn't like - being quite nice and reasonable

Nigel - I'm sad he is gone. Think he was greatly misunderstood. Look how gentle he was with Tara. He was loyal, he did eventually make up with Rhona. He took his challenges well. I in no way believe he was homophobic. I think he was just a loud, straight-talking, genuine guy and I am sorry he has gone. Look what we are left with.

Am now in the unusual position of not knowing who I want - totally confused. Anyone else feel the same?

I think confusion prety much sums the whole thing up at the moment.

From show to show we get totally different views of different people, some who were hated villains turn into godly saints (well not quite!) and vice versa. It's not as if the tide's turning all at once though, as some people start to like a person, others go off them, again on an almost daily basis.

This is all some evil psychological trick, I kknow it is! :'(

I agree that people's characters are changing dramatically on a daily basis. But as for not knowing who to vote for - I'm sticking by Rhona untill the bitter end.

Mossopp, I never thought I'd be saying this, but I could be joining you, at this rate

Yeah!
Rho-na! Rho-na! Rho-na!

My opinion on this...

Tara: is now showing her true colours, t first she was a novelty so the others could pay her attention & keep her sweet, once that novelty started to wear off & Tara stops getting the adoration, she starts to get weepy & attention seeking. Exactly what I expected from her. As she said herself, she is 30 years old - she should act it!

Christine: Think she's getting fed up with Tara's childLIKEness, she's probably not used to pampering someone cos she's pretty tough normally I think. I see both sides of the Christine argument and at this point in time I am reserving judgement. I can't help being pleasnatly surprised though, expected her to be a right old cow! Some of you will say she has been... As I say, I'm reserving judgement for now.

Tony: Same thing really, think he tried to stay cool, but the kiddie tantrums etc.. are getting to him, don't forget he & Christine have nearly 20 years on the others. I thin he's a decent bloke & I'm glad he's starting to show some opinions. I actually quite like a little bit of bitchiness! As you may have noticed from some of my other posts!

Nell: She's not changing, she's just boring. She's getting on my nerves now, comes across as quite self-righteous etc... Not been voted for anything & looking a wee bit smug sort of thing. She needs to start getting involved. has Nell had a day of being in charge? Did she do anything that day? Did I miss it?

Darren: Trying desperately to save his reputation, writing songs for his girlfriend & all that bollocks! The arguments with Tara today just made her look bad, as opposed to making him look good. He's shown that he sulks, he like attention & adoration, he's big-headed, likes women fussing over him, is childish. But, he looks bloody good as Frank'n'furter!
Considering he gave Tara such a hard time over being dis-loyal, he's not exactly been loyal himself!

And last but not least
Queen Rhona: I've said before, I'd not heard of Rhona before this started & I just took to her straight from the start. I can't help but like her, I think she's down to earth, funny, honest, sensitive. Yep, she's bolshy, irritable and a skit, but nobodies perfect! I think she's now going from strength to strength & if it's true that the winner has to spend the last day alone, then I think she's the only one that is capable of being entertaining for a day there by themselves. I loved her little speech on why she should stay - can't wait to see some of her live shows now that I know wo she is!

Sorry, you can all wake up now!

Yes it's surprising how things are turning out.

Tara - She's my new favourite. Everthing she says about Darren I agree with. And Christine is always nagging her, then when Tara bites, she tries to act all innocent saying "What have I said?"
She's had a some tantrums, but she's pretty harmless, and I don't mind.
Still think she's great. The only one left, now that Uri has gone, that I definitely think can be funny.

Darren - At first I didn't like him. Now I've started cutting out pictures of him and pasting his images in a scrapbook which I deface. He's top of my celebrity shitlist, just above Jamie Oliver.

Tony and Christine - Christine, good start but she's blown it now.
Tony, the camp bitch. I was going to start a thread up about this, as he is the one who has been throwing casual bitchy comments around about other jungle-mates. I'm not sure if others have noticed this.

Rhona and Nigel - What a turnaround. Nigel was simply a bit direct and doesn't suffer fools glady. I could see why he was losing his temper a bit with people, but he's definitely reassessed himself and tried to be more friendly to people.
Most genuine one there.
Rhona, she's okay now, couldn't stand her before. Her and Nigel amazingly got very close in there. But I think that Nigel didn't want it to seem like it was anyone elses idea to change his ways and let them take credit for it.

Tara tried to talk to Nigel during the Rhona/Nigel conflict, but Darren(again) got shirty with her for not doing what HE wanted and leave Nigel alone. But I think that Nigel must have listened to what Tara had to say. Because it wasn't long before he made up with Rhona with a surprising little kiss.

Shame Nigel's gone, I'd liked to have seen him Rhona and Tara form a breakaway from the others.

AM, we'll have to meet up tomorrow night and see who we like then It's amazing I quite liked most of the JMs and not Rhona and now things are all upside-down

Not sure about Tara - she seemed to be a right old drama queen tonight - will re-evaluate tomorrow.

I don't know, I don't recall her voting at all. Same for Tony too actually.
Probably just my dodgy memory, though.

sure Nell voted for Nigel because he said he wanted something to do, so she thought she'd do him a favour...
Tony voted himself because he hadn't had a turn.

Talking of people voting for themselves, was anyone as suspicious of Darren's intent when he loudly asked of you could vote for yourself, and made sure to remind us all a few times?

I think his plan was that they ALL vote for themselves? Daft really as Christine (or whoever is leader on the day) still has to make a casting vote. P'raps he thought she wouldn't pick him??

Still miffed about Nell though, a bit selfish'Nigel wants something to do' Yeah right oh, how generous of you to sacrifice your turn for him.
