Neil's had his break - Free Christine the Snake!
faequeen
03-09-2002
Well up until tonight I was a great admirer of 'ballsy' women and wanted Christine to go far - I'm afraid she's now blown it and deserves to go home.

You could forgive her for setting her fangs into Rhona by relating what she 'thinks' Nigel must feel - that was an unfortunate mis-representation - but did a lot of needless harm.

Tonight though we saw Christine shed her skin to reveal a nasty poisonous venom aimed at a somewhat troublesome but quite inoffensive little fawn.

Rather than be upfront, this viper smiles and denies all wrong doing while she injures her prey with sharp, swift blows causing them to scuttle off out of her way.

Send her home - Neil's need is greater than ours!!

I totally agree ....

I would prefer Nell to go tomorrow though - she contributes nothing anyway .....

I also was a 'Christine supporter' ... thinking ..... well, I don't mind if Tara, Christine or Tony wins .... but after tonight ... no more

unless that is .....

they manage to change the opinion I received of them tonight - but, I won't if Tara leaves tomorrow and then will probably root for Nell (not saying I will vote though)

I agree as well -Except for forgiving her over the Rhona business...Later evidence points at a malicious fit up......

It really is strange isn't it.
What a difference a day makes - as the song goes!

I think the producers are definately manipulating us - imagine showing us Nell being 'emotional charged' - well not quite but at least it was a little bit of an opinion!

Well I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt but she really had no right to speak for someone else.

Wonder how you and I would do in the jungle?
Would I be passing you notes or squaring up to you???

Christine must go. She's a nasty, bitchy, unpleasant old witch, who waits for a vulnerable moment & then sinks her fangs in. I cannot believe that I was fooled into liking her at first. I might have to trawl the forum for previous pro-Christne posts & edit them. I might add "None of this is true" at the bottom of each post.

Aaaaaaaaaarghh... Foolish, foolish old woman.....

Isn't this fun!
Being able to put people on pedestals then knock them off on a whim with a big club. Castrate them and berate them. Ressurrect them and idolise them - then sentence them to death!! - All on a daily basis.

AGREE!!!!!!!!!!

I think Rhona was RIGHTLY berated for her behaviour in the first few days, but after her chat with the shrink I'm prepared to say that her reformed behaviour has been a credit, and I'm liking her a lot more... but it's only Tuesday!

seeing that Rhona/Christine clip again tonight, the conversation went in terms of Nigel's beliefs, and Rhona asked Christine "Did he say that?". Christine said very definately "NO" but he is a born again and that is what they believe... what Christine said was therefore right, but Rhona had the chance to think, well he didn't say that, but just to make sure we understand each other, I'll ask him. She didn't do that - she charged straight at Nigels throat about it. I'll admit stirred up by what Christine had said, but Christine did say that he hadn't told her that directly, she was making assumptions which were understandable, if wrong. I'm not doing a Christine right, Rhona and Nigel wrong... but that was it.

And Christine was only responding to Rhona feeling totally pissed off because of her spats with Nigel and not knowing why. The explanation was a fair one, and even Rhona must have thought it rang true too. I certainly did because that IS what most 'born agains' believe isn't it, that homosexulas are sinners? So I don't think it was a malicious fit up, that is the way Nigel chose to interpret it in a very dramatic way, knives in back etc.

Yes Rhona has earned a few brownie point the last couple of days.

I laughed when Tara was dressing her in that green thing, pulled it down - along with Rhona's trousers revealing her builder's bum and a bit of a 'kebab belly'!

I've finished my work (mind-numbingly boring book review for mind-numbingly boring academic journal, but it all looks good on the CV) ) and emailed it off 1 minute ago, and am now FREE to post.

But I'm a bit tired, so I'll just say you are right as ever, oh mighty Faequeen....Christine revealed herself tonight as a 5 star b*itch. Like you, I'm v. disappointed with her. For tonight, anyway...

That's pretty accurate I think. It also reminded me what, as a christian, born again or otherwise, Nigel said during his eviction interview. Spooky really because I thought about the same thing yesterday, he said the Bible also says 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone' So with regard to his beliefs he said he couldn't condemn Rhona without condeming himself as he was certainly not sinless himself. Which is exactly how I felt when I thought deeper about it.

I have to say, I came on-line quite agitated by Christine's behaviour what a let-down. Was glad to see your thread also included Tony and Darren. You have my exclusive permission to line up another two jars on the kitchen shelf. These little breakfast jam pots should suffice on this occasion!

they edited out the bit where Christine told Rhona that Nigel had told her(Christine) about the bible saying gays were 'sinners'.

Yeah fair enough - But it COULD still have been a malicious fit up - Chritsine is clever than you think. What was she thinking of to say something like that. With the atmosphere in the camp was it wise to say "All born again Christians believe homosexuals are evil" when a born again Christian and the gay women were at odds - It just doesn't make sense to calm a fire by pouring oil over it................
