Tara on ITV's Main Site...

...There's an intersting story there at the moment concerning the hard done to one Tara. It seems she wanted to re-record her plea for votes and the others disagreed. So as a mature 31 year old she went off on one, tried to escape and got bought back by a securuty guard (it's on the official site folks).
Our Tony has had some strong words about her. "She's such a stupid little rich girl - bugger off and give us all a break. There comes a time and that's it".......All on the official site I remind you. Could it be she has a bad personality? Or perhaps they don't don't know how funny she is in the edited highlights...

I think the reason she wanted to redo it, if it's true, is because she seemed to think they were asking who she wanted off next. Whilst the others all went on about why they should win, Tara spoke about people voting Darren.

I love the girl to bits personally. Never could stand her when she was on other shows, but she's the only one there I'd give the time of day to now.

I thought the site was absurdly anti-Tara and pro the "motherly" stit-shirer Christine. Indeed so prejudiced was it that I expected Meso to spring to the defence of the underdog!

I wondered why Tara was the only one to go on about who should leave - especially when we can't actually vote to eject anyway!

It's a good point about the underdog thing.....I'll have to think about that - Except she's still the favorite to win..........

Favorite to win she may be but what the hell do the bookies know? They were so sure Rhona was gonna be the first out and look how wrong they were.

She may be the current favourite with the public - but the JMs certainly don't see her as likely to win.

Maybe that is why the ITV cite is dissing her - to get more votes for the others - I hope so.

I think Tara is gaining more & more support from the public because they have seen how unfairly Christine, Tony & cronies are treating her. She is still the only person to have been a genuine peacemaker, & I applaud her for it.

I like hazyman .... but even she can say ... ok - I don't agree with your point .... but .... whatever

Everyone perceives the same programme and people differently .... and my perception of people changes almost daily - but coming down to the last few ..... I really hope things do not get too personal or too heated

Tara causes tension, and then apologises for it, and then causes tensions again, and apologises for it, and so it goes on and on. If she behaved a bit more socially, appropriately and predictably the others you accuse of being nasty to her wouldn't be making those comments in the first place, so it's simply not fair to turn the tables on them and say Tara's behaviour is somehow their fault? One day totally off her head and doin everyones heads in, the next day moping and apologetic and really still doing heads in. I don't see why we should applaud this sort of person? Everything so intense. You may have good reason to relate to Tara on a personal level, but most of us don't and can't.

As I see it, I don't honestly see Tara as the person causing tension. I am amazed that you do. I really see that Tara, despite not actually (in a practical sense, unlike most of the others) needing to be liked by the public, has attempted to apologise to anyone she has offended, tone down her natural personality for the sake of the group, & attempt to cheer the others up (however misguidedly) on a regular basis. I can't see what's wrong with that.

Oh I can quite see Tara causing tensions. The thing is the others are making capital out of it.
It's all very well saying she's childlike and just having fun and just wants everyone else to have fun etc. but, maybe her idea of fun isn't their idea of fun (A la Jonny and Kate type thing).
Tara is old enough to be able to, should be able to, see that and maybe just tone it down a bit or do it away from them.
That said the others aren't exactly a barrel of laughs are they? They do realise this is a TV show I hope? If so they ought to be able to work out that watching them sitting around having a cosy chinwag ain't gonna have us tuning in by the Houseload.
So maybe they ALL ought to meet each other halfway?
