I agree totally with your points. the more I see of the rest, the more uncharitable they seem. How ironic they entered the program supporting a charity. ”

That's a good point, I never looked at it like that before.

They're positively enjoying Tara being the target of their insults.

Tony goes one to one with people, and quietens his voice to have a little, catty sly remark about someone.
He's a two faced sod too. After Tara was really nice to him, he started slagging her off when she was out of earshot.

Christine thinks she's it. Makes crap up about people, goes for the easy target, and innocently says "What have I said?" when she upsets someone.

Nell hasn't been too bad, but just even smiling at the others remarks encourages them more.(I still like her though)

Rhona, not too sure, but generally she seems okay so far

I think Rhona and Nell are tough cookies, so they simply think that Tara should toughen up a bit, as they are all in the same boat.
But I don't think they know what Tara is thinking so don't really see her problems in the same way.
But those two spent a bit of time with Tara.
While the three of them were sat together, Tara told them that she was not going to be forced to leave by the others dislike of her and intended to kick ass.
So far Nell or Rhona haven't reported this back to Christine, Tony and Darren...ooops, did I say Darren? I forgot that he isn't there anymore

So I think that Rhona and Nell are the only ones she can trust.

Things are going according to how I want them. Darren gone(sorry, you're full of shit, you're out of the game mannn)

Christine next, then Tony.

Then I have a final three that I'm happy with.

Don't care that Nell is quiet. Don't know how anyone deserves to win these type of things anyway, sometimes you just like someone, no other explanation necessary.

In general I agree with you but I still have my misgivings about Rhona and Nell.

Both of them show too much complacency and togetherness with the rest of the gang for my liking. While admitting Tara can be hard work, they have shown not much empathy towards her. They agreed with Tony and Christine by not confronting them about their unaceptable attitude. You can not swim and keep your clothes dry.

It seems to me they are trying to improve their ratings avoiding confrontation at this point in the program. Nell is almost like a doll, with the occasional smirk, but surely physical attributes on its own can be a good reason to come as a winner. Rhona is in a redemption trip.

That leaves Tara (warts and all) as the only one to win and possibly Rhona. (my humble opinion)

PS. AM - I have sent you a PM tonight

Yes, but Rhona and Nell are preferable to Christine and Tony anyday.

Tara, that's my choice.

Nell, Okay she's very subdued on the show, but I've seen her on a couple of things before, and she's great, honest. She's from my city, and something just seems right about her.

Rhona, I think she's not too bad. Don't mind at all if she wins. Showed that she can cause friction, but in hindsight, I generally think certain people deserved what they got.
Had a personality clash with Nigel. Christine really stirred the sh*t up for them and gave them a bad two days, then they made up.
The row with Darren that she had? Oh, Fu*k Darren.

Once the numbers go down, we can see more of these three. But I think it's going to be difficult to oust Tara, in my eyes.

Even if she goes tomorrow, she's still the REAL winner.(No, ignore that line, it was only a joke)

I thought we were judging them by how they come across in "Celebrity".

If she hadn't been there, the program would still have been the same.

Yes but sometimes I simply couldn't care less.

If I like somebody, I sometimes, simply just like them.

However she has come across in certain ways, body language and facial expressions can help.
But this notion of judging them by how they come across in "Celebrity" is very flawed.
For example, it meant nothing in BB3. The contestants came across in different ways to different people, so who you thought came across the best, somebody else disagrees with you. So how they come across, has mixed messages.
However, for example, if you knew Darren Day in real life, and he was the most amazing person you'd met in your life. But in the reality show, he came across as very timid and shy, are you simply going to vote for him based on how he comes across?

You know the problems involved in "coming across" on an edited reality television game show. We had the problems of getting the fuller picture anyway. Even with all the cameras about.

Okay , you can gather a lot of information, but how you decipher it all is a different matter.
I sometimes have problems wondering what people actually do judge their favourites by. There's no rule that says you have to judge purely by how they come across on your television screen.

In these types of shows, I always tend to have two main people that I like. A quiet one, and one with more extrovert overtones.

I like Nell. And I can't really give you any stronger reasons than I've already given you, so I won't even try.

Tom from BB1, and Dean from BB2, were quiet and could be considered boring, but I had a good feeling about them, so I liked them. And don't forget that although "Celebrity" is half an hour longer than BB, we seem to be seeing less actual content.

Sometimes you just have to go by gut instinct.

If she's still there tomorrow night though, I'll type something up in her defence, to explain what I do like. I'll try to illustrate my thoughts to you if I can.
I would do now, but I'm quite tired.

Yes! How ironic. As they say, charity starts at home.
