please help,i have made a recording from hard drive to DVD in which i attempted to play the unfinalized disc in playstation 2 and my IBM600 laptop before i realised my error,since this there is no audible on the laptop or PS2 but they both show the volume is unmuted.I have tried other dvd,s to no avail,can anybody help

You cannot play unfinalised discs anywhere bar the recorder.
You shoudl finalise it and then it will play.
Trying to play an unfinalised disc elsewhere should not cause any damage

Wonder if it is the Upper Dvice Filter in windows?
