Samsung LE26M51 or LE26R74

Hi

I apologise if this has been covered before, but i am trying to decide between these LCD's.

THe R74 is a newer range, but I like the styling of the M51 better. Price wise they're about the same (about £750).

Game playing is not important, but quality of freeview and dvd picture is.

Just wondering if anyone could shed any light on what the difference is between the two?

I'm in a similar position. apart from i have a third option of the LE26R41 due to its great price.

There is no difference what so ever between the M51 and the R74 however the R41 is close behind only lacking 10bit signal processing for a more colourful picture.

The colour rendition on the new model is far , far superior . Reds look properly red and not a sort of orangey gold . The earlier model was the best LCD picture we sold , the R74 is just better !

Buy the new model !

Thanks for the info. Looks like it will be the R74 model. Still prefer the stylng of the M51 though.
