How do you block withheld numbers on a Bt landline?

Call customer services and ask for 'anonymous call reject', they will put it on your line and you then have to enter a code to turn it on or off when you want to use it.

Call BT... it aint free though.
BTW if you have the automatic block service on your line you can dial 1470 before the number you are dialling to release your number on that one call. It's £1pm on TW - and free on Bulldog. |

Bulldog phone service is only available as part of a bundled package - you have to take their broadband service too. Furthermore, I understand that Bulldog do not allow you to access alternative call carriers, such as 1899 so you get charged 3p per minute to call 01/02 numbers, whereas with BT & 1899 you pay 3p per call. You pays your money and takes your choice; rental vs call costs
