Hey, i'm new here


I've been looking at hdd and DVD PVRs with freeview built in (so i can just select a program, and have it recorded later), but i wondered if my Philips freeview box would integrate in any way with my rather ancient DVDR 880.

I know there's a record thing on the freeview box, but i think that just auto-switches the channel at the time set.

I just wondered - it saves me about £130 if there is a way

Any help is appreciated
